This is welcome news, I thought we were going to have to pay for the classics.

Ed Boon and co. have always said that we won't have to pay for on-disc material when it comes out. Seeing as the cards are just unlock keys and not actual downloads, it's on-disc.


Side note, I disassembled my TE stick's actual joystick in preparation for my IL Eurostick arriving today. I have only worked with Sanwa and the Street Fighter SE stick before, and I suddenly am having BAD feelings about how this is going to go..It's not as easy as I had thought it would be, and to complicate matters more I may or may not have mislabeled a ground/common wire as I forgot to label the "down" wires immediately.

Prayers are welcome, hopefully I don't short the stick out or anything or someone's going to be ANGRY.

I haven't gotten to 300 yet, but just speaking of playing the ladder multiple times, you just have to learn to jump over them at the right time, wait for there attack (if you are behind them), then punish them while they're in there attacking animation.

That's probably the easiest way to beat boss characters I know of.

No worries, it was just my mind psyching it up to be more than it was. It's pretty easy to figure out. I wrecked 6 people online in a row thanks to added precision.

So what does that mean for Skarlet, who apparently has assets on-disc (beyond her use in a stage background, i.e. someone hacked the game and found her as a fighter but without announcer audio) but isn't yet playable?

Sorry guys as I'm sure this has been asked but after searching starting at page 70 and going for about 25 pages and then doing the last 20 or so, I gave up.

Basically, can't decide. PS3 or 360.

360 gamer and hardly ever use my PS3, haven't played God of War (I know) and probably won't play online at all.

Given it's banned here, be using my 360 US account for DLC also which has points on it versus my PS3 US account which doesn't.

Anyone with both systems regret not grabbing the PS3 version for any reason?

Just for kicks, I'm thinking picking up Mortal Kombat Armageddon for Xbox since it backwards compatible. So I can play with Frost, Kenshi, and others.

i tried online for the first time last night.

needless to say i had fun. KING OF THE HILL is Awesome!!!!

i stayed in one room until everyone left. man i was kicking *** with Scorpion. it was fun seeing what score people were giving my matches.

now that PSN is back up, us OS'ers have to get together and have our own room. it would be a blast

I love that I can finally play MK online again but the lag is killing me right now. Plus the fact that you can't even get a rematch against someone on a player match kinda irritates me. While the lag could be a connections issue with the other payers, the quitting back to the main screen when trying to get a rematch in a NetherRelm problem that I hope gets fixed soon. Not that it's a game killer by any means but just a pain in the butt to do every bloody time I want to rematch some Scorpion spamming punk online.

Maybe I'm just unlucky then cause me and my opponent both selected to a rematch and got booted out, it's happened like 5 times so far.

Raw you play 360 or PS3?

PS3. the first guy i played, we rematched 3 straight times. he was kicking my behind. lol
