So I thought I read in here that there was a patch but I logged in on my PS3 last night and played online and it never said there was a patch. Was the patch for Xbox only and if so will the PS3 be getting patched?

There's a full patch coming out in a few weeks. They released a few tweaks to the game last week that they implemented without a patch. Sort of like a tuner set.

No penalty. Huuge oversight. IMO, there are two different things that could make this better.

1) Disable the pause menu and XBOX/PS home buttons during an online fight (meaning they would literally have to get up and turn the system off to quit)

2) Just give the quitter a loss, and the guy who got quit on a win.

Option 1 is more old school since we didn't have pause menus in the arcades..Option 2 is quicker.

Yeah or do a combo of the two ideas you give...no pause menu and if you get up and turn off your console then you are hit with a loss and the other guy just gets a win.

I am sick of it to be honest. I'm 4-20 so I rarely have won but I had at least 5 or 6 times last night when I was just destroying guys and each time they'd just quit the game.

How in holy hell can the devs design such a brilliant and superb game and overlook this? It's the elephant in the proverbial room.

Can't wait for that patch to hit though. I went up against a guy and he just owned me with Cyrax's bomb trap. If you don't have breakers saved up you are screwed.

For the last challenge die 10 times and the difficulty lowers. Then use block and flying kick against Mileena. The other's are easy once you figure out their pattern. But Mileena's a real bugger.

That patch can't come sooner! I got one game online since PSN came back online and I know it's not my ISP. Terrible, terrible net code, how did this even leave the labs?

The only Mk I got into on last gen was Armageddan. Reading the reviews tho, the load times are killer. I'm just upset that my chance to use Skarlett is gone.

Teleport or jump kick over it.

Armageddon was actually pretty good. Nice story mode. Real good online play (it ran a ton better online than this game does). PS2 Armageddon was awesome online.

The one thing that held Armageddon back (aside from the crappy 3D movement) was the crappy generic fatalities that everyone has.
