I know what you mean though, usually when I see scorpion or smoke I come out with Raiden, he's my cheese killer. Love me some teleport to superman.

For the most part though I just hit the random button and I am about 50/50 online w/l.

I haven't had a chance but I want to start learning how to pull off some of those juggle combos with Raiden. I saw there's a video posted here (blocked at work though) but I'm gonna check that out and practice.

I haven't really noticed any difference in those with sticks and not. Although I can't reallly tell anywway, but I'm pretty fast with my DS3.

You don't need a stick to be good at this game, you just need a reliable d-pad.

I suggest you get one of those WWE Brawl pads off eBay for $10-$15.

As for Raiden, his easiest juggle combos are:

B3, 1, 2, uppercut - 22%
B3, 1, 2, B3, 1, 2, Superman - 27%
Shock, B3, 1, 2, Superman - 26%

Never said you needed a stick to be good at this game, my friend is pretty darn good and he uses a regular controller like me, and I know a stick won't make me a better at MK when I get one. I'm as middle of the road as they come player wise but I would just like to know who's got 'em and who don't. WWE Brawls pad huh? Is that like the Street Fighter IV pad? If so, yeah one of those wouldn't be bad till I can get my grubby mitts on a TE stick.

WWE Brawl Pad is basically an updated Street Fighter IV pad.

They improved the d-pad, changed the button layout, and added a turbo function.

It goes for a cheaper price than the SF IV pads because most fighting game nerds don't like wrasslin'.

It's not, I was going to google it later haha. I know they have special codes for buttons I just don't know what they are yet. 1, 2, F3, B3... ???

Also what is a "reset"? I've heard the term used but don't know what it is.

1 = X button
2 = Y button
3 = A button
4 = B button

As for other commonly abbreviated Mortal Kombat lingo:

F3 = Forward + 3 button
B3 = Backward + 3 button
J3 = Jump + 3 button

So, is it just my TV, or is Sub-Zero's klassic kostume the wrong shade of blue? Seems way too dark.

Anyway, Ed Boon said today on Gametrailers that they have not sat down and made a release date for Skarlet, but she should come out in about two weeks.

Other info from the E3 interview:

-- Kenshi is coming, but no known release date.

-- MK will make it on PSP.

-- More downloadable content to come and also more characters.

-- They have "four characters scoped out" and have "surprises for the summer."

Fujin is rumored to be one of the upcoming DLC characters since his name is already on the disc as "DLCBaseMale":
