Picked this up earlier today. Incredible game. Simply put, it's a TON of fun. Yes it's the Wii so the graphics haters will say their piece, but it does look outstanding. The point and shoot mechanic is great, and you can really see how much care went into it. Absolutely worth the money.Comment

re: Goldeneye (Wii)/Goldeneye Reloaded (PS3/360)
My complaint list is as follows...and I truly don't think it will get any longer.
1. The framerate drops slightly...nothing too terrible...but noticeable in large environments with a lot going on. But this is very slight...no biggie.
2. Another no biggie...just preference, but I wish all fps games allowed the option to change the crosshair graphic. I prefer the COD style where it is a very small, not the larger crosshair this uses.
I tried online again and it was more fun the second go around...but definitely not a go to online component with superior 360 multiplayers out there.
I am definitely adding this to the collection and would only sell it for the 360 version, which I expect will eventually come out.Comment

re: Goldeneye (Wii)/Goldeneye Reloaded (PS3/360)
Surprisingly not too bad thanks to the classic controller pro and not having to use ****ty Wii remote controls. Have not tried the single player yet but the multiplayer COD influence is very clear. Actually not a big fan of COD in recent years but on Wii I have lower expectations so by Wii standards it is good. It is kind of unbalanced though due to the different controllers. It is kind of like if a shooter was cross platform compatible on PC and 360 and not gimped for PC. People using the remote will run at you and miss the side of a barn with their shots while you can just easily put a bullet in their head with the classic controller pro. And so far it seems classic controller pros are the minority since my worst game was being tied for first and it giving me second place and it isn't like I am playing great and just have people missing me so muchComment

Picked up the game last night. So far, so good. I love playing shooters with the wii remote and nunchuck. I adjusted my dead zone to be as small as possible and the controls are snappy responsive.

I will post mine tomorrow, not sure what it is off the top of my head.
I went ahead and ordered this from Amazon ($10 off and free shipping, woot!) and I've been tracking the package. It originally was supposed to get here Friday, but I think there's a good chance I get it tomorrow.Lux y VeritasComment

re: Goldeneye (Wii)/Goldeneye Reloaded (PS3/360)
So I got the game today and just got a few games of multiplayer in. I like it. I was worried about the controls, that they wouldn't feel right or that they'd feel too loose, but they work. I like having different loadouts similar to the CoD series, though as of now I'm only level 4 so I don't have anything unlocked aside from the default loadouts.
One thing, I ordered the bundle edition with the classic controller. The controller wouldn't work except for the joystick and the A button. I then tried to play with the wii mote and nunchuck but that didn't work either, the only button I could get to work was the home button. Finally I was able to play with an old gamecube wavebird controller, which was OK. But I would prefer to use the classic controller or wii mote. I am wondering if my wii mote might be broken. Also, for those who have a classic controller, is there anything I need to do to hook it and get it working other than plugging it into the wii mote?Lux y VeritasComment

I just got this game yesterday. Actually growing up I didn't like Goldeneye64 but my wife loved it. She asked me to get it, and I am glad I listened! This game is great! I'll post my friend code later.DSM Transfer.

Now that I've got my favorite control scheme figured out (I think its the advanced option 3) I'm loving online even more. The maps are great for 8 player games.
Another thing I like is that it takes a while to level up. I'm just about to hit level 12. I got my first accolade for killing the most players of a lower level my last round.
