Re: Limbo
This argument is pointless. Nobody needs to justify paying whatever amount for thier own leisure.
I did buy it. I love it. Don't know how much is left, but I've loved the game and have no regrets buying it. My lifes too short to sweat $10-20.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Limbo
I bought Braid at $15 and did not regret it. I loved it and to this day, the story and ending have stuck with me. The experience was worth much more. I've payed 40$ bucks for a game that lasts much longer and it ends up just sitting on the shelf.
With that said, i'm on the fence about this game. Looks really cool tho, and i would like to get it eventually."I'm addicted to Video Games, and i chase it with a little OS." -Winston ChurchillComment

Re: Limbo
Finished the game for the first time today, it took my three nights of playing, probably between 4 and 5 hours. Really an amazing game, by far the most original thing I've played in a long, long time.
The puzzles towards the end started to get really difficult. There's something to be said for making a game brutally difficult and force the player to figure it out on their own, solving some of the trickier puzzles in this game was some of the most satisfying gaming I've done in a while.
The only negative is that I thought the setting for the first half of the game was much more interesting than the setting for the second half, although the second half did have some crazy puzzles.Comment

Re: Limbo
Because far as other options go movies don't really have any, they are likely to be of similar length unlike games so you won't get that much more or less for your money (length wise, not quality wise) because at most typically there's only 1 hour difference. You can wait and rent it cheaper of course. With games there could be 40 hours difference. This of course with both games being at least good.Comment

Re: Limbo
The gameplay hours double if you go back through finding all of the achievements(without using a guide). There's no way I'm getting that last achievement, but I'm on pace to put in between 8-10 between my first playthrough and achievement hunting.
Also, the achievement puzzles are very challanging, so if you like the puzzle aspect in the first place, you will enjoy this part.Comment

Re: Limbo
Just finished it last night. Probably took me about 4 hours total over the past week or so. I thought it was an incredible game. Each puzzle introduced a new concept, and the atmosphere and art was awesome. I also loved the ending.
SpoilerSo what does everyone who's finished it think of the ending? I read something really interesting that speculated that the boy actually killed the girl at the end, and I think it's a legit theory. The main evidence is the title screen after you finish the game, which appears to be much later, and has 2 graves with flies buzzing over them. While the devs will never admit the veracity of this claim, I think it'd be cool for more games to trick gamers into playing as the villain. It's a cool concept, and has worked well in the three games I've played that have used it (SotC, Braid, and this).Comment
