Hey I just won this today on Ebay. Got it for $20 plus shipping. It looks like you can get it for around that on most auctions.

Really excited about getting it in and playing it. the first one was great so for $20 bucks I figure i can't miss.

Solid game, but they tried to give it the Mass Effect treatment. It works for Mass Effect because it wasn't a traditional RPG in the first place.

I need to go back and finish the game. Got to the start of Act III and momentum tailed off as I moved.

I just started playing this last weekend and wow what a difference this game is to DA:O. It's nearly like a totally different game only has similar characters. I"m not sure if I'm happy about it or not so far.

I do like having the feeling of more control over the combat but I loved DA:O so I guess it'll depend on how good the story is etc. This seems like a much more linear experience so far (just made it to the first town).

Well at least its a new environment.

Thinking back on this game, the story and characters were real good, but the whole reusing environments and not really being able to travel anywhere was a real letdown. I've had the urge to go back and start up a new character in Origins multiple times, but have never had any urge to go back to this.

It is which was a huge disappointment for me.

I'll be getting the DLC sometime this week just because it's DA. If they make a Awakening like expansion eventually, they better bounce back big time.

Is the travel system in this game the same as Origins?

I.E - Fast travel, not open world, little areas where combat happens?
                            NHL - Pittsburgh Penguins

Playing Legacy right now. They've made some changes to the combat, people were complaining about these things non stop, so its something that everyone should be happy with. The DA 2 companions are on my short list of best party members ever(Merrill, Varric, and Isabella for life), so its great to run another quest with them. This DLC won't change that many people's minds about DA 2. If you already like it, you'll really like Legacy, if you don't, then you may want to save your money.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
