Good thread for me since I just got a PS3 last month. It came with Infamous and LBP GOTY. So far I've bought R&C Tools of Destruction and Motorstorm (now on sale at Gamestop for $5).

I'll definitely be picking up the Uncharted games.

Which is a better shooter Killzone 2 or Resistance 2? Is there anything about those games that makes them stand out above other shooters like COD, Halo or Gears of War. Or would I be better off trying MGS4 instead?

To get into Uncharted 2, should I get the first one? I'm not exactly a completest but I do like getting a grand understanding of stories. I also forgot about Yakuza. I finally get to see what all the love was about. I think I might holler at Afrika also because my wife could enjoy me playing it. Seems to be more friendly games on the PS3 than 360 from what I see. My wife played probably a total of 2 hours on Viva Pinata. Might edit the first post and drop the games recommended so I can keep a solid tab.......

yeah definitely play the first one before the second.

If anyone is without Modnation Racers, you need to go out tomorrow and GO GET THAT GAME. It has been the absolute funnest game in several years for me.

Second favorite? MLB The Show 09 or Dead Space.

- Little Big Planet (might as well wait for LBP2)

- Killzone (wait for 3 I guess)

Looking for anything exclusive. Haven't had a PS one days. Probally no sports since I've got that covered on my Xbox. I'm going to try to to take advantage of the buy 2 get one this weekend at GS to start the collection.
Everyone has said Uncharted is a must have so I need a couple more to go with it. I was kind of thinking of Infamous but I'm not sold on it just yet.

Good question. I'm not picking up the PS3 until Friday so not sure. Kind of doubt it. I bet I can find it cheap though since almost everybody else should have it.
