i agree that it absolutely needs to be perfect, but it also needs to be released in my lifetime...all these delays just become annoying, though granted it'll sell really well no matter when it comes out. Plus there is less sympathy with any mistakes, given the amount of time they've had on the game. If there are any decent sized bugs people will flip

with the dates. I will wait till Bungie says something
firm. They are the ones afterall that said it would not
come out this year. They never once say when it would come
next year.

Agree with PK that this is the GTA on the Xbox. One thing that has not been mentioned is they also have to make sure that the online aspect of this game is of the same quality. This game can be the difference in hundreds of thousands of extra XBL accounts purchased. So it is even more then a system seller for Microsoft.

This is the only non-sports game I am purchasing. All others I get through gamefly.com.

I just really wish they would have made a HALO 1.5 that would have just been the orginial with online play. Hell they wouldn't have even had to include the actual game, just give me the multiplayer on Live and that's easily worth the $50.

I wouldn't of even needed live. Just more multiplayer maps and more options so the LAN parties can have a little more variety.
