My stats are improving but they are not where I want them to be. I think these are just average stats.
One thing I am proud of is that im in the top 4% in resupplies per support min. But I think thats only because nobody throws ammo out. I have stood next to someone with the support class while I was out of ammo spamming the request ammo button only to have them just stand and look around for a couple min then run off. And that happens quite often. Everytime I am playing the support class and im next someone and they shoot I throw ammo out. Even if they shoot one bullet I throw the ammo out. That is the easiest way to get points.Last edited by fatleg3; 11-29-2011, 11:46 AM.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
They should make a notification that you're being supplied or healed by someone. Most people don't even realize it's happening.<a href="http://bf3stats.com/stats_ps3/fatleg3"><img src="http://g.bf3stats.com/ps3/3FLa01Pg/fatleg3.png" alt="BF3 Stats" /></a>

Re: Battlefield 3
I don't think ground vehicles move fast enough to be able to take advantage of flares. Flares is all about making the rocket think you went one way when you went another. If you're still close to the place that you let the flares out, then it's not really useful. Also in the air you have 3 dimensions in which you can navigate, on ground you only have 2.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
iLL, not sure I get your meaning. I resupply like crazy when I play...it shows when (but not who) squadmates are taking the ammo I set down w/points on the screen. Are you saying you'd like to see who provided the ammo or kit in the first place when you take it?
It's true; when I get revived, I don't normally know who did it unless they are still next to me when I come to.GO 'HAWKS!

Re: Battlefield 3
I consider myself a decent support player. My strengths are resupply (even at some peril to myself when I see those ammo icons over teammates heads and they are a ways off lol), suppressive fire (I use M249 w/ext mags and rain down 200 rounds at a time
), and mortaring vehicles and stubbornly held objectives.
I usually get anywhere from 4-9 kills in a round..but I work hard to keep the rest of the team supplied, and I'm a patient flag guardian.GO 'HAWKS!

You pretty much have to look at your health and ammo HUD fill up as you are healed/resupplied. I agree on the revive tho (would come in handy when somebody keeps reviving you in the middle of a firefight, lol) - aka reviving irresponsibly...

Re: Battlefield 3
I mean you get a notification when you kill someone. You should also get a notification when someone has provided you with ammo or health. Otherwise you have to really pay attention to the hud to realize "hey someone is providing me with excellent support"iLL, not sure I get your meaning. Re: Battlefield 3
Dear Assault squad mate,
I appreciate your efforts in trying to help us capture the objectives as easily as possible. However, in a match that takes about 10 minutes to complete do you think it is possible, just once, that you can drop a med kit? I know you see me standing next to you with the cross above my head. I am not praying that I survive to objective B. No, I simply want you to drop the pill box so I can heal. When the ammo appears above your head I kindly drop ammo so you can resupply. Another thing, why is someone from another squad reviving me while you just fire random bullets into a crowd, knowing you're not hitting anybody?? Just help a brothe out, please?

Well there is a type of notifcation, but in the form of a sound.

Re: Battlefield 3
True but its only really noticeable if there are no other sounds going on. With bullets and rockets and tanks around, it's harder to notice. I only really started to notice it once I got my Turtle Beach headset.
It's not a big deal, but I think it would make people realize they aren't a one man show and how much teamwork is essential. Also would be good for trying to make new friends.Comment
