Re: Battlefield 3
But it's just something I've noticed.
My thoughts when I'm playing:
Hmm...Looks like JNes is playing Medic. I'll go engineer to help should any tanks arrive.
There goes a bogey. JNes is taking him head on. I'll take the rear.
He got em sweet...Aw crap. A tank. You just relax JNes. I got this...
Gotta find some solid cover. This rock should do...Let me pull out the rocket launcher to take this big ************ down.
**Pops out from behind rock to take shot. Pulls out rocket launcher** S**t!! Didn't reload after the last time I used it! **Runs back behind rock without taking shot**
Alright all reloaded now. Where is JNes at? Cool he's right here if anything should go wrong. It's GO TIME!
**Pops back out and takes shot** Bingo. Vehicle disabled B***!!! Just one more shot and he's done.
Ah...I see that you bailed. I'll go pursue. You're not getting away that easily bud.
I know he ran over here behind this wall somewh--**Dead**...Damnit. Where the hell was he? That was dumb on my part. Should've been more careful. Probably try to take a different route instead of following right behind.
Oh cool. JNes got him. Now I'll just wait for my buddy JNes to help his comrade out...I'm right here behind you man...
Alright. He noticed. He's coming this way. I'll be back up and running in no time.
Wait. Where is he going?
JNes, I'm right at your feet man. No hostiles in our AO...No don't leave. DON'T LEAVE. JNESSSSSSSSSS---
***US DEPLOY POINTS***...NOOOOOO!!!

Re: Battlefield 3
Please let me know if anyone plans to get back on tonight.
The new maps + randoms is a no go for me. I could deal with them somewhat with the old maps because at they could at least put up a fight just from being familiar with the maps. But now not knowing the maps + not playing as a team at all is a disaster. I at least need to play with a group of guys that will work together.NOW PLAYING: Battlefield 3, MLB 12 The Show

Re: Battlefield 3
I'm good for saving a bunch of tickets, if I'm playing as assault.
It's so bad, that people who play with me probably get tired of me reviving them, but that's my way of helping the team win.. especially if it saves a ticket.
edit: Just checked and it says I have 753 revives.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Some guys plan and get together in parties to try to play as four man squads...or just play together to mostly fill out a 12 man team.
Others, like myself, who have nutty, unpredictable schedules just jump on and if a BF3 friend is playing, join in on their game if there's an opening.
I think others here can better elaborate on the team play aspects of the game; I get too wordy for my own good.Yep, most of the time I just try to join into games with guys on my friends list that are already going on if I don't have something specific set up, which I hardly ever do. If you see them in a party you can join in and that way you can talk to each other, even if you are not on same team or in same squad.
I love this game BTW, and haven't put in this much time on a game in a long long time. Looking forward to the new maps next week.FYI not sure about PC or PS3, but for 360, if you're on a DICE server, it allows people trying to join a full server to enter a queue that will automatically put you in the server once your spot comes up. It's better than having to keep checking to see if any spots open.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
When I spawn at C we try to capture B by standing behind the elevators. You dont have be in the line of fire to capture that objective. All you need is about 2 guys watching the flanks and the locker room, and support coming up from the Stairs and escalators. The fight for B is always intense. I usually average about 15 kills on Metro but like 7-8 on other maps.Comment

That way, we can form the greatest helpers of all time...
"Need some suppression fire at 1 o'clock? No problem."
"I got some fresh ammo for ya here."
"Don't worry. Ill keep an eye out on the door behind us so you can safely move forward. Your dog tags are safe as long as im around."
"They got you pretty good there. Come over here so I can patch you up."
"You just worry about that other tank. Ill worry about keeping this baby up and running."
"Oh nos. I think hes choking on his grenade pin. YOU call 911. YOU grab the AED. Sir, I know CPR. Do you want help?...ok. Starting chest compressions. 1. 2. 3. 4..."
We'd be the dynamic duo of role players. Helping our superstars (Mikenoob, JNes, Fatleg, ChuckNorris, AUChase, and many more!) so they don't have to sweat about the little things.
We might not get the recognition we deserve (much like offensive line men, Robin, or Carlton Banks).
But we can rest at night knowing we did our part.
God bless America (or Russia depending on what side you're playing)!Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Dammit, Magic...quit tempting me! I'd have to start all over! LOL
What's worse is I'd have to learn the PS3 controls now that I've got the 360 controls on automatic
Carlton Banks? Does that mean I can sing 'It's Not Unusual" and get my on screen avatar to do the Carlton Dance after I resupply someone?
But yeah, I think together we'd be a great Horace Grant and Steve Kerr to mike, jnes, AU, fatleg, et all's Jordan.GO 'HAWKS!
