I love this game, but I just don't understand why I am so terrible at it. I die alot and feel like when my side wins it's in spite of me, which is a rough feeling.I lose the majority of my one on one firefights and my accuracy is wretched.

Has anyone who played BF2, played the new maps on PS3?

Wondering what people who have played BF2 feel about on how Karkand plays with destructible environments and the new rooms inside buildings. Seen some gameplay videos and I'm a bit worried being able to blow buildings to shreds is going to make things a less enjoyable.

My only gripe about Karkland, is the the approach most people take.

There are so many ways to flank and out maneuver the opposition, but people would rather take a head on approach and get annihilated.

Two 30 player leagues in 2k12, os people, and friends/family. They need to allow more than 100 people lol. Managed to find someone who hasn't logged on in a while and removed them, you should have a friend request waiting

There are so many ways to flank and out maneuver the opposition, but people would rather take a head on approach and get annihilated.

And this whole time I was thinking that my approach was the cowardly one. That's the only way I manage to get kills. I pretty much get all of my kills by avoiding people head on, and sneaking up on them.

I would give the players a chance to get to know the map more. Judging from the reaction here about how overwhelming the map is I don't think the players realize that there are four approaches to Karkand if you're playing as the US.

I still have fond memories of all four maps. My brother and I is especially looking forward to playing karkand again.

I need to learn how to properly play Rush/Squad Rush.

- Pay attention to the MCOMs on defense (don't stray too far away).
- Go where the defense isn't while on offense.
- Don't let enemy vehicles strut their stuff for too long.

For newbies I think those are the keys. I also think map knowledge is wildly important too. I don't think I'm much of a fast-twitch stick jockey but I seem to do OK by being in the "right" place more often than not and flanking enemies often.

That was a nice comeback. We were down the majority of the round, but that's just how it is with that game mode. Once we got in the city and started capturing flags, they weren't really able to push back in.

I hate to bail so quick, gotta eat something.

I just saved the last M-Com at the Canals from being diffused in one of my most awesome moments ever. I had just set up a radio beacon near where they were dug in at behind the fence. I died and spawned from it and saw that one of my teammates was about to try to arm the M-Com with the EOD-bot. I landed in the middle of the area and took down 3 people, including the one guy who saw the bot, before dying. By the time I respawned in the same fashion, we had armed it and we only had one guy in the area trying to keep the enemy off. They killed him and two of their guys who were close went to disarm it. I pulled out the grenade launcher as I was parachuting in and nailed the roof. By the time I reloaded, I was right above the hole I blew in the roof. One perfectly shot grenade later, both guys were dead and the game was over right as I touched the ground.
