Re: Battlefield 3
If I recall instead of mcoms its flags and once it's capped you can't get it back...so you really need to defend the flags from getting capped. It's like rush but with flags...i think...
You know how those shotguns are pretty effective long range? The tanks canister shells is the same thing but it takes out 3 people at once if they are grouped together.

Re: Battlefield 3
Thanks Goffs....I followed it up with a search at bf3blogs:
"In addition to improved destruction, Battlefield 3 ships with a new game mode called Conquest Assault, which hails back from Battlefield 2, but back then it was called just “Conquest”. In the Conquest Assault mode, one team starts with all of the flags and the other team has to attack and advance throughout the map — if you’ve played Strike At Karkand in Battlefield 2, you’ll know exactly what it is (and the tense fighting that happens at the first flag)."
So if I'm understanding Goffs and the blog, that really puts it on the attackers because it would SEEM you'd be bleeding tickets from the get go? And then with each flag you take it would slow the bleeding tickets like in Conquest as we know it? So attackers have to be pretty swift and aggressive.Last edited by Lieutenant Dan; 12-07-2011, 10:29 AM.GO 'HAWKS!

What does everyone use... headsets or ear piece thing? Cuz I have the PS3 ear piece and I always wondering if maybe I should get a headset instead.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: Battlefield 3
When playing conquest assault.. Please don't run across the map as a defender to gain back an objective when you were already protecting one. What's the point in gaining that back just to easily lose another? Especially if it's the point just outside the enemy deployment.. You won't be getting that one back if the team is competent. The 2 points way back could easily be regained as enemies won't be able to bring reinforcements/vehicles at a steady pace.

So it's not like Rush, once a flag as been captured, you can regain it?Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I have a bluetooth, but I'd like a good set of headphones, so I don't have to sacrifice my surround sound to be able to talk to my squad mates..
I play so much better when I can hear what's going on. Some of my best rounds have been with OSers and we weren't even wearing a headset, we were just playing great as a team and everyone was spotting people.
There were no issues with ammo, health, etc. and we covered all the entry points very well without saying a word.Comment
