I played with Koolie and 65South last night (thanks guys!). Man, we gave it our level best but we couldn't pull out a win. I racked up a ton of ribbons in losing causes, so i guess it was at least good for that and I still did have fun. 65...remember the good times on Metro?? LOL Daaaamn....

Someone from a game I joined with 65South sent me a message asking about boosting.

Yeah, got the same voice message. I gave him an 'avoid' review and blocked him. Can't stand boosters to the nth freakin degree.

What does "boosting" mean?

Boosters just want to go into a room with other people for the purpose of cheating to boost their stats. It's a foul practice.

Have you guys noticed "Improved Destruction"?? I played last night and could not really tell a difference.

Yes, I noticed my destructibility was enhanced as I died a lot.

Boosters just want to go into a room with other people for the purpose of cheating to boost their stats. It's a foul practice.

How do you even begin to cheat in this game to boost stats?

Play on opposite teams and keep killing and reviving each other or what? I don't get how that would work.

Seems like you would be best off just playing the game like it was meant to be played.

I was plain awful last night! I kept trying to stick with you but kept getting smoked. Last night was the first time I felt my gun had no affect on killing anyone. Kept shooting and shooting and they were still standing there.

It just wasn't going to happen. I actually think the bottom spawn has an advantage since you can jam the street spawning team in the upper level of the metro but they were getting in behind us and causing all kinds of chaos. Part of it was we stumbled at the beginning and never regrouped/recovered. I think I was 2-11 or something equally ineffective out of the gate. Other team was very good FWIW:

Yeah. On Operation Metro I don't remember too many instances where I was around teammates.

That's because we were dead... a lot. I'm not the biggest fan of k/d as a measure of skill but hill death totals mean you're just not out there a lot and that's bad news. I was captain useless for most of the first half for that reason.

Adding to all that... one thing I was confused about was why so many players on our team were running around with support kits. Having one guy out there with an LMG/bipod and throwing ammo isn't a bad thing but the bruisers are the assault/engineer guys.

Also, support guys... throw ammo kits. I was surrounded by support guys and constantly low on ammo. Do you not love easy points?

Congrats!!! I had a 2nd place finish last night for my team, but not 2nd overall for the game I guess so still no MVPs for me.

Amen, brother. And yeah, go into a server and just kill each other for the points/medals whatever. Just stupid. The type of users that should be banned.

I'm pretty much full-time support, and working on my 5th resupply medal. I love dropping ammo kits!! Hell I'll run into fire to resupply a guy.

YES! When a tank shell hits the side of a building it gets obliterated....it usually takes a few shots of the tank to take a damn wall down in the vanilla maps.

I guess that idiot was just hitting everyone up in the room. Although I didn't know what it was about I got a message from him too. He did a voice message but I guess his mic was on mute or something because it was 10 seconds of air. Good thing.

Yeah definitely had a good time playing with you guys and Tracer. It's the first time I've had a chance to sit and play for an extended period of time and despite my suckiness (not that I was any better before, lol) I had a blast. I too received a ton of ribbons despite not being able to pick up a win.

Oh and yeah, Metro....

Metro...well Mike or fatleg or AUChase or one of the other experts here can offer better advice for Metro, since I was caught up with you in that bloodbath LOL. I THOUGHT you simply take A (or C) first, then fight over B and hold the line for the win, but it was just a ****storm last night of our side controlling nothing a little ways in.
