I don't normally play as an engineer, but when I do, I prefer the javelin.

Love taking out choppers with the javelin. Jistic if you wanna throw that SOFLAM up at the beginning of those matches, I will use it. However, when I play as an engineer it usually takes me outta my game. I suck with the carbines. I'm pretty solid with the assault rifles.

I played a few games last night and got totally destroyed in every single one of them. My teams were awful, a bunch of noobs were just wearing me out, and just had all kinds of bad luck with spawning on someone just to die 2 secs later. It was not my night.

I'll be on tonight. If we do Kharg go to Javelin on defense and I will Soflam. I hate playing sniper so we'll both be taking a hit for the team lol.

I've got over 1500 kills with the M320 attachment. I must be a great noob-tuber. The smoke grenades can be very effective if used properly. It won't take you very long to get 20 kills with the grenande launcher. When people are trying to hide in cover or in a building, you just blow that cover up son!

Thanks Koolie...it's worth it to me to get the smoke. I think it's invaluable (and underused) for taking flags and MCOMs. I don't usually play assault in Rush or Conquest, but I want to be ABLE to switch to assault to take help take those stubbornly held MCOMs and flags then go back to my normal roles.

I probably won't be on until late if at all tonight. Will be on Thursday night for sure. If you put up a soflam and then you die, the soflam stays up doesn't it? So you can start as a sniper, but then switch classes after you die or you commit suicide? I'm not the greatest as an engineer anyway, we can try it, but we have done pretty well just playing our games, so maybe we don't need to change.

He's been sending me garbage messages for two rounds. He couldn't cut it without his frag rounds last game and they got destroyed.. so he sent me a msg "os is noobs".

I'd like to know where these people get their creative trash talk ideas..

Smoke rounds are so devastating, if you have two or three people using them. I try to urge people to equip them on metro, if we're attacking from C and the other team has us pushed out.

Someone was dropping them lastnight on that game of rush and we walked straight through the map.

They can completely change the outcome of a match.

I agree completely. When I use mortars on support, I love to drop smoke on flags and mcoms, but you have to do it from much further back and unless a teammate is talking to me about where to drop em for max effect, it's hit or miss. That's why I want the smokes for the grenade launcher, so I can smoke the objective whilst running with the squad.

Just to go OT for a moment in honor of my wife...

Last night, she's got her K/D over 1.0 in MW3! She's absolutely thrilled...she's been playing brilliantly. Congrats, hon! Her K/D will keep going up, too. She's really got that game dialed in, she's a level 64, I think. She did it playing w/randoms 100% of the time, no help.

I'd love to get her into BF3, but she sees me play (a lot, LOL) and said it looks too chaotic for her (big maps and too much going on). I said it's actually slower/less frenetic than MW3 and more 'hardcore' tactically...I still think she'd have fun as Recon in BF3. She's VERY patient, is really good at picking her spots, and is great at sighting/spotting the enemy and using the map.

Amen to that, brother. She's great, and we're a great match. We both enjoy videogaming as our main hobby, shooting, travel, movies, golf, bowling, and reading.

She wants to get herself an assault rifle one of these days (she can shoot one well, but she's a tough fit to one because she's 5'2"). She can drive nails with her .45 1911 at the range She's every bit as good a shot as me, and better in most cases.

Just makes for a great relationship when you aren't getting that folded-arms, arched-eyebrow look for gaming LOL. She loves COD games, RPGs, and puzzlers, and she's living for Sniper Elite V2.

You guys who are still single here...be picky. And DON'T settle. And if you really love gaming, your gal needs to at LEAST get that and not shut you down on it.
