Re: Battlefield 3
How Does Battlefield 3 on PS3 Measure up to PC?
Having finally seen Battlefield 3 running on PlayStation 3 in an early state, we learned nothing new about content. Forgiving the lack of new sights, we left our incredibly brief and non-revealing session wondering why EA and DICE showed off pre-alpha code this late in the game. With the game hitting store shelves on October 25, crosshairs firmly trained directly between that other shooter's eyes, should we be concerned for console versions of the game based on the early build we saw, and the limited scope of what was on display? We have tremendous faith in both EA and DICE. The framework is in place and the PC version is a sight to behold, but based on what we've seen of the PS3 version, the console versions of Battlefield 3 could have a ways to go.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
But these are the sort of differences you'd only notice if you were looking for them. At first blush, the Playstation 3 version of Battlefield 3 is every bit as impressive as the computer version. The fidelity of the urban battlefield is overwhelming, the nuance of details found in the buildings, cars and make up of the city serve as a sort of camouflage for the action that unravels during the gunfight. It's hard to spot enemies until they open fire. Most importantly, the PS3 version won't disappoint fans who found the PC version of the game thrilling.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Battlefield 3
Who to believe?
G4
While we do realize that Battlefield 3 has been redesigned with the PC as the lead platform, it was a mild downer to see a noticeable down-res in graphical quality with this PlayStation 3 version. It’s still in prealpha so we're hopeful for visual improvements come October.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
