The console stuff is still going to be huge. The only gamemode that is 64 players on the PC is "Conquest 64". Rush and Conquest are 32 players, which isn't much more than the consoles 24.

I'm still a little concerned that they haven't shown anything at all from the 360 version.

EA did the same thing with past titles including Dead Space 2, by promoting their game on the PS3. That's why Dead Space 2 also included Dead Space Extraction exclusively on the PS3.

Guess there's just something going on with EA and Microsoft. But it obviously isn't that big a deal since EA continues to produce games on the 360.

I hope not.....I don't own an Xbox but if there is some kind of conflict brewing between the two it could end up affecting PC games as well

I just hope the maps are smaller than Heavy Metal on console. That map is huge for 12-on-12.

Unfortunately I won't be able to get a PC for this game, and I'm certainly not building my own. It will be 360 for me.

Oh my. Any OS bretheran running this on 360? I wish I had the money to drop on a new PC to run that thing because it looks e.pic.

360 here, want it on PC but don't have the $ to get a rig that is up to spec.

-2gb of ram
-intel pentium dual core processor @1.6 ghz
and i can get this processor pretty cheap from my local craigslist

hmm Heavy Metal was fine...it wasn't to big for a 12 on 12 map...now in the old BF2 maps they were HUGE even for 64 players. Mind you you didn't have unlimited sprint like Bad Company. In BF2 you had a sprint meter and you can only get to a block :/ running in a huge map in BF2 was a chore...

its nice for the fly boys but man if you had no vehicle around you might as well leave and play another map...

Sorry, you not even in the same universe......processor way too slow, you need at least 3ghz speed. No where near as much RAM. And that graphics card really not a card since it doesn't require power to run. Never the less that card is way too weak to run Battlefield 3. Hell I doubt you could even run COD 4 Moderwarfare 1 on it. That is how weak that wannabe card is.

Hell the GT 260 is twice as powerful as the GT 430. Heck the 9800 GT is more powerful then GT 430. GT 430 was made for people can run Window 7 aero basically.....That is about the only thing it is good for, it isn't a gaming card that is for sure.
