I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.

PC all the way, the reason I disliked BC2 is the lack of 64 on the server. It's gonna be 3pic...

                      Re: Battlefield 3

Question for you guys... I am considering buying a very nice gaming PC and new graphics card. However, I have a home theater system with a 63 inch TV and surround sound speakers with everything running through a pioneer elite reciever.

I dont know much about CPU's but could I hook it up to play on my TV and through my surround speakers? I have a feeling this game would be amazing on that setup! Also, if I was to do that is there a way to buy a controller so it is just like playing the game on XBOX? Or do I have to use a wireless mouse and keyboard? If there are controllers are they good quality and work well for a game like Battlefield?

Thanks for any help I can get guys!!

You could have a computer showing on your TV and audio going through the surround sound, just got to get the proper sound and video cards.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Not really. Rush maps are not all that big. 16 on 16 is fine for rush maps.

I am not sure the PC version is going to have controller support. Battlefield bad company does not as far as I know. I good wireless keyboard and mouse will allow you to be competitive. You will get slaughtered using a game controller.

Not true, I have played a lot of PC shooters before with the wired 360 controller and I have done fine.

The robot in the trailer is used to repair vehicles, arm crates, and spy. It's very fragile though.
