Technically the tank passengers cannot use their smokes, but if you play with your squad often, you can make it work. I play with the same group of guys just about everday, Jac and empire. I would roll with the smokes sitting in the second seat. If we're getting locked onto or he wants to repair it real quick, we switch seats for a second and I would deploy the smokes. It only takes a second at most to swap around seats.

It works in the scout choppers as well. I usually run support as the passenger and toss out c4's repeatedly and blowing up anything I can. If we're going down or needs a quick repair, empire would deploy his ECM, switch seats with me and start repairing. Meanwhile the ECM is still in effect and I have flares as backup incase if anyone does get a rocket off while he's repairing.

Can I possibly run my server with the CQ maps at 24 players? Makes it impossible to mix them in with the regular maps... Kind of a big letdown. I either play them separately or lower Caspian Border and such to 16 players... No thanks. Thanks in advance.

Its a lot of fun. I don't have as much gaming time anymore, so I can't keep much in my rotation with BF3. If it helps make your decision easier, BF3 has been at the top of my rotation for the past 8 months... just a really fun game and we have great PS3 and 360 (from what I can see) communities, so there's Always someone to play with. Any give night, I can sign on PS3 and there are at least 4 guys on playing .. and a lot of nights there are 8 or more.

If you're competitive, we also have a PS3 clan.. you wouldn't regret the $40 purchase, unless you're a COD die-hard that isn't open to something different. (:

Also, consider the fact I'm nearing 200 hours of online play with this game and I'm a long time Battlefield guy, so I'm a bit biased.

Any one on 360 know where or how to play the new maps ? I'm a premium player and when I try to play one of the new ones I can't get it and can't find where to download them if I need too.

I'm playing on PC and this is honestly the most fun I've had in any game in recent memory.

Now I just need to build a really awesome rig and play this on max settings.

I killed someone with smoke a while ago...like, months ago

For some reason I had smoke equipped and out as I was running around a corner and an enemy was standing right there so my first instinct was to shoot and I got a headshot
