Thats probably one of it's biggest advantages.

With the extended mags combined with the slow fire rate, you can drop 3 to 4 people in one clip.

Thats probably why I've done so well with it because my aim isnt so great, so I can keep on target because of the slow fire rate.

Exgended mags + laser + kobra = BEAST.

I may try it again maybe I will have better luck this time. It wouldn't be the first time I through away a gun bc I couldn't get hot with it as quick as I wanted.

Yeah the laser sight makes the already nice hip fire into a true no need to ADS in close range! Yippee for me!

I've probably asked in this thread before, but anyone have pointers for learning to fly? I'm determined to learn. I tried joining some servers with only a few people in them, but they all seem to fill up quickly. I've looked up videos on Youtube, but when I try to follow the instructions I don't get the same results... they make it look so easy.

My main problem is that almost as soon as I spawn someone is locking on to me then I have to bail. I have heat seekers and flares unlocked mostly through spotting enemies and a few lucky vehicle damages here and there.

Ok this is seriously F'd up!! I have DL Premium twice now. Paid for it last night and DL it again just now to make sure (it showed up as a free DL probably because of the initial DL last night......HOWEVER, when I go to DL the premium map packs it tries to charge me for them.....WTF!!

You have to start the dlc downloads from the Bf3 menu, not the psn store.

I'm on the 360 and have been trying to get the expansion packs thru the in game store, not the XBL marketplace......very frustrating, it tries to take my MS points each time. I have verified that the BF premium is on my system, so it should be working.

So I finally unlocked the QBZ-95B last night, getting a vehicle kill with torch has evaded me for a long long time. Granted I NEVER play engineer class so that is also kind of why.

I threw it on last night and kind of like all the china weapons, they are BLAHHHHHH. Nothing special at all.

I ended up with 22 kills with it for 30 mins of time with it. Not bad by any means, but it just lacks any real reason to use it.

1) It is a CQB weapon, so I used it on the small maps like brazaar. The issue is there are better CQB weapons.

2) The spray on it is insane on anything medium range or greater.

3) Intro iron sights are BRUTAL, once you unlock the kobra sights for it then it gains some usage.

For CQB maps, I will tend to continue to use my 870, FAMAS, P90, or PP2000. I see no need to use the QBZ95 outside of getting first service star.

I disagree about the QBZ, it's my go-to engineer weapon. The gun is real accurate anywhere from close to mid range. You get the advantage of rolling out with the laser sight along with the heavy barrel. It's fire rate is moderate making it very controllable for longer bursts. It's also a bullpup which I am a fan of for the added mobility. You'd be surprised how many people miss often in encounters if you're strafing side to side. Of course, reload times are long with bullpups, but that's what my raffica is for.

Really that is interesting Mike. In CQB I did well with it from the hip, anything over CQB I would not be able to compete. I did go 16-1 on wake island with it, granted I was in a tank the entire round :wink:
