With a controller in my hand I could do these without thinking, it's when it comes down to trying to repeat it out loud. Kind of like typing, I can type anything but if you asked me what keys are on the top row I'd be stumped. LOL

This is correct.

I discovered this last night and thought "How cool!". It is really helpful on some vehicles to see more of the landscape.

I would hate to have to cheat at a video game. Just sad.

Boosters are sad people...the circus freaks of the FPS World (cue 'One of Us!' song).

I played online for a couple of hours last night and had a blast, once I got my feet under me. War Tapes audio is UNBELIEVEABLE..I have 7.1 audio in my bedroom and it sounded like WWIII in there!

I love playing online and feeling like I'm contributing to something rather than bringing up the rear in kill counts. I can get a low kill count and still finish fifth in points out of 12 on my team in Rush That felt great! Awesome to be rewarded for good teamwork and play rather than solely on marksmanship.

This game is brilliant. Oh, and I'm enjoying the SP campaign as well. Jet mission is worth playing that in itself.

I completely agree with everything you said (except I have 5.1 surround, not 7.1 ).

I had 2 or 3 games where I had only 2 or 3 kills (and probably 7-12 deaths...LOL) and finished 2nd or 4th on the board on a winning team. Yeah OSer's! I love those vehicles. So much fun if you pair up with someone who wants to win.

I have yet to figure out the parachute. I have so many suicides, LOL. I know it's "B" on xbox. Do any of you great gamers have any recommendations or pointers? I push B twice really quickly and hold it on the second press. But still everytime I will die. Thanks for any help.

Exactly....I was lucky to be in a room all evening where these guys seemed to understand how to play the game. The the round I was fifth, we won, and I had 3 kills and 5 deaths...but I did my 'job' well

"Learning Curve" plays major role in this game w/regards to vehicle and 'chute operation. I got some good laughs last night from watching a guy fly an A-10 into a tree, wobbly choppers, etc. I tried to fly a helo myself, went straight up 50ft then augered that baby in about 15ft from where I took off. :o

Last night I saw an attacking jet smash right into the ground near a base. My first thought was, "silly kamikaze". Then I realized at this early stage of the game, it was most likely a legitimate crash.

I found it by accident. LOL Was falling out of a plane that I was miles up in. Then floated down for what felt like an hour. ha ha

Battlefield 3 MP is a mix of chaos and comedy.

The more I play this game, the more I feel like I"m in an actual battle. This really feels like urban warfare with bullets around, explosions, instense gunfights with enemies you can barely see, etc. It's just an awesome experience.

Great post, exactly how I felt last night. A couple of times I stopped advancing, hunkered down, and just looked around at the spectacle. Jets and helos flying around, rpgs streaking across the battlefield, soldiers running for cover or taking aim, tanks and other armor on the move (or in retreat), the 'crack/snap' sound of sniper fire...oops, I'm dead. Dammit...
