Re: Battlefield 3
I would think so. That would probably be the graphical fidelity of the console versions anyhow. Just with the controls and options you prefer.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Battlefield 3
Battlefield is a more planning/strategy/teamwork game. In comparison CoD is more of a fast reflex/quick twitch game. You can go rambo on CoD way easier than you can on Battlefield. To be honest, if you don't have friends playing with you on Battlefield, it limits your experience significantly. However plenty of folks on here plan on buying it, so you're in luck.
Yup, I need more PS3 guys for this game. Hopefully I'll get to add some from here at OS.Comment

CoD is just a different mindset anyhow, everyone out for themselves, even on the same team.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Battlefield 3
bada-bing, bada-boom. exactly why i'm hesitant to get this game. i don't care for the idea that i need to set up "play dates" with my friends to play this game. i like the run-and-gun way of playing in CoD. the more "intimate" maps. battlefield would be a great game, but i just don't like all the prep it takes.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I hardly ever play with friends and I love Bad Company 2. Guess it depends if you think using a mic is important. I just mark objectives and enemies with the select button, that is all the communication I need.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
But I only play TDM 90% of the time, so the W/L isn't my fault. I do like S&D though.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
What is K/D? I don't see it in the Battlefield dictionary.

Re: Battlefield 3
Just from personal experience, playing BC2 on the PS3 with OSers...
We completely ****ing dominated. I remember nights where we would almost have three squads of nothing, but OS guys and we completely walked through maps against people..
We had to start playing against each other to feel a major challenge.
Looking forward to it again, that's for damn sure.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Battlefield finds a nice balance between individual, "me-first" shooters and a good, tactical shooter. You can still be rewarded for being a good individual player as long as your playing within the overall objectives. That's why DICE gets the $60.
