Finally got into a Caspian Border server and holy cow it's a totally different game from Operation Metro. Finally felt like Battlefield! Jets, tanks, explosions everywhere...a good squad or two could do a ton of damage in it.

That this isn't just "Call of Duty" play style... that they have the BF2 modes in there.

Getting the PC version, in which I am discussing.

Yeah, I was trying to play last night and I couldn't even join any servers that were open. I eventually gave up. I had no problems yesterday afternoon. I guess more people were on last night... I agree, it annoys me too.

So after some digging around on the BF3 forums, alot of people are having this and saying to undo uPNP on your modem (mine has been off, so dunno), But I also found that there are certain servers (at least in my case) that do not crash, while others do every time.

If I get on a GameServers.com Server, works perfectly.

If I get on a Multiplay Server, crash just before the game ends.

Just a little heads up there about the Servers. I should be somewhere around Level 10 now, but only Level 2 (iirc) as 95% of my games have disconnected, my last 4 games however have worked flawlessly (on CA - GameServer.com #036).

I've been capturing so much PC beta footage that my 1TB HD is almost full lol. Been clearing it out and finding the good bits and I've been slowly but surely rendering them out and putting them up on my Youtube channel. This is a quick little segment of gameplay I thought was good enough to upload. Boy do these fire fights get intense sometimes...

Anyone know what time this is supposed to go live? I can assume the usual afternoon PSN store window and maybe even the early morning hours for 360, but what about the PC version?

I read somewhere that it would go live for all at 10am PST. (no I do not currently have a link, but I believe that it was either on the Origin forums or EA's forums)

I believe this is the release time, Eastern Standard Time 8:00 am.

At 8 AM (Eastern Time) the beta will be available for all PS3 users to download. I just hope that the servers won't meltdown.

I'm glad I have plus now. This beta is determining if I buy or not. Still deciding on PES too haha not sure if I can play soccer yet.
