Re: Battlefield 3
Which would be no different than any other Battlefield, because none of them have had smooth launches and this seems to be coming in even hotter to get out before MW3. I got a feeling there's going to be a lot issues (not just server related), particularly the console versions that are going to need be addressed with multiple patches, but that's pretty common this generation.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Just one thought in my mind after just playing a few rounds on the PC and now one on the PS3:
This is a PC game through and through, and that's definitely the system I'll be getting it for.
Also happy to report that my Radeon 5770 is holding up pretty well on the high settings (though dropping below 30 FPS at times), but stays above 30 at all times on Medium, which still looks pretty damn good.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Should someone start a seperate thread in the online games section for player names? We all need to meet up somehow (though unfortunately I won't be back on until much later tonight).Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
The only thing this game needs is the ability to handle all real life things.
Surprised the beta launch has run without any real issues, I do not know this feeling for BF since its usually botched for awhile.
Love the flashlight in the metro tunnels, guys get blinded by it all the time.
Oh and I love the pace, way better than Bad Company series with the smaller maps.Aaron

Re: Battlefield 3
I thought the beta map was rush on operation metro? Someone said earlier it was, although I knew that was the alpha. So, perhaps they're wrong and thought they were answering my question when they actually were not.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
The first match I got into was inside the train tunnels and I saw the flashlight and I stopped, mesmerized by it. Thought "The hell is that? Is that a train coming down the tracks?" and then his friend came around the corner and shot my face off with a shotgun. Moments like that make the game so much more memorable than other online shooters to me.
I love the knife animation now tooAaron
