This game isn't about kills. It's about points. If your getting points then your helping the team more.

Also I hate seeing people use the medics an not throw down any health. I would come across a group of teamates hiding behind something to avoid getting shot. I usually throw a health pack bc I know eventually there gonna get shot so lemme lay down some health an they will survive longer.

Can someone start up a battlefield 3 ps3 multiplayer thread so we can gets peoples PSN an add each other. I would but I'm to lazy to update the first post everytime someone adds there PSN.

Once you unlock a scope on this game it outs you on a whole different level. I have been getting headshots like crazy. Also make sure to fire in bursts from range bc the recoil will go crazy if you don't.

That's the default class, you're going to see that a lot. I hand out health whenever I see a teammate stationary. And when you have 3-4 guys fortified against heavy fire, you'll rack up like 300-600 points just from health packs.

Yeah, not to mention people are not used to this type of game (a lot of CoD players, I can tell, they are fish in a barrel)... but also the switch to make it not a "medic class" anymore, Assault threw down ammo in BC2.

But I am glad assault is now medic... Cause I loved medic, just was not a fan of the suppression weapons.

Yesterday I tried to send out invites to a game using the drag and drop feature and am not sure if it works or not.

I'll be on this morning around 9am PST for a few hours.

unlocked my defib yesterday and i've been reviving fallen comrades like a mofo....key binding for the pc is still broken since I can't use the extra mouse buttons for the defib and ammo hand out...

Just lost for the first time as attackers.

I'm trying to be patient, because there are so many guys playing this that have never played a Battlefield game. I wish people would use the spotting feature and actually throw down health, ammo, etc.

Again, I'm taking it for what it's worth, this will be a completely different game once a lot of the run and gun COD players are gone.

Also, how do I use the flashlight ?

and is Caspian Border even available for the PS3 demo ?

and have you earned the flashlight?

If you have it just customize your gun and press up on the directional pad to turn off and on if your on console but PC I wouldn't know.

I get blinded by that sucka all the time.

Played about an hour of the beta, liking it so far. Aside from the glitches, it's a beta, I'm having a blast. There are some frustrating moments, like unresponsive controls at times(sprint, prone), and seemingly getting "one shot" by assault rifles.

Also, for people that use the laser sights and more importantly the flashlight...

If I'm running into the subway, or running to one of the MCOMS outside, I can spot your light and laser from a decent bit away. It makes you an easy target

I'll probably wait for a Black Friday sale with the other games coming out, but first impressions are good.

I played a lot of COD while waiting for the servers to work. My impressions :

Sound is amazing..destroys COD. The guns sound so much better.

Graphics are gorgeous, but the game is choppier and not as smooth as COD. I know it is a Beta, but just saying. I remember the WAW beta running a lot smoother. I'm not a CD fanboy, so bear with me.

The gun play is awesome in this game..much more real, and something I wish COD had. You will get way more kills doing burst fire instead of just holding down the trigger like COD rewards.

I love the prone...love the strategy of the maps..love how it is shakier like real life.

It is kind of anticlimatic when you die or get a kill. Not as satisfying as a head shot in COD (ping!), it just seems like everything reacts kind of delayed. Still getting long distance kills with just an iron site feels pretty great.

Seems like camping could be a hot commodity..so easy to lay down and post up. The other thing is that the maps are so open..people can run around all over the place and easily flank..in COD, you have to know what you are doing to be a consistent flanker.

I also have no idea about a few things, I'd love some help.

I'm on XBox 360, I had a friend I thought was in my squad, but when we played he was on the other team. Is this just a BETA issue or am I doing something wrong?

I unlocked the holographic scope before bed. Can I attach that to all my guns? the first scope I unlocked I coudl not find anywhere, so I am thinking it may just have been for the sniper rifle.

How do I spot? I guess I am just curious what I need to know in the death menu between lives..all I know is I can edit my kit and drop in with a teammate if they are alive..is there more to this I should know?

Played last night for a bit on the 360. Big MEH from me. Just couldn't get into it. Graphics seem terrible. Sound is good though.

Yeah, I am not sure if this is the COD killer yet..it does have some awesome things I wish COD would do..I need to play it more..but the COD BETA sucked my life away a lot more than BF3 so far.
