    Re: Battlefield 3

That could be right..who knows. I just find it hard to believe that everyone who plays Bf3 plays it how you want it to be played is all. I am currently in the BETA and I do like laying suppression fire, spotting (now that I know what it means), and things like that.

I would prefer spotting to be in COD to be quite honest.

I sorry if I missed it but has it been said whether or not your stats will carry over to the regular game?

I never said everyone did, does, or will. IMO BF is more tactical slower paced shooter. I love the objective games in it and just get frusterated when people go just for the kills. I know people will still play that way even when COD comes out, there will most likely just be less of them.

          Sent from here to there.

I just played against a level 21. I actually went 9/7 this game. We somehow lost but I don't understand how. We blew up the 6th objective and then it said YOU LOST, so I'm a little confused about that.

It's easy to level up...I just entered a game without firing a shot and I got a ribbon for playing rush or something...

There are a tons of unlocks to this game and I'm not sure if I unlocked everything for the assault class...

I think in time the running and gunning will slow down as people learn how to play. Especially a map like Metro when it's dark and confusing where watching your flanks is huge. Staying alive for squad mates to spawn on you is also huge and you can rack up tons of points simply by staying alive. If you only have 5 kills but die once and support your team and take/defend objectives you can rack up points and be a great team mate.
I agree especially when objectives are involved your supposed to be entrenched and trying to hold back the team on the offensive. If you go too far up and they get around you it hurts the team as they will most likely get to the objective. Like you said kills are not what the game is all about as you could have no kills but if you support your team by helping to revive, repair or supply that can be more beneficial. Also in the final product their will be a team deathmatch mode for people that just want to play for kills which is fine.

Win/Loss messages can be wrong. They are wrong too often in Bad Co 2.

The subway part of the map had decent gameplay but when outside in the miles of open space was dissapointing. People are just in prone position in bushes just playing the waiting game to snipe with scopes. It made the game boring and the matches would take too long to finish.

I agree, the first part of the map bores me a lot. But once you get past that first part, the map is awesome to play on.

I've seen Lv. 30's today on the PC.

This is a damn fun game when people are working as a team.

One question - what's to stop people from spamming the spot button and getting lucky by finding someone they couldn't see (for example, prone in the bushes). It seems the spot function activates quickly, like you don't have to hold your gun on them for any length of time.

Oh yeah - snipers. With flashlights. In broad daylight.
