Like I've said before. If we handed all of us a bunch of assualt rifles and said "GO!", every one of us would drop prone immediately and crawl for miles looking for every bit of cover we could find. This isn't Halo. You don't jump up and down during a fire fight.

Re: Battlefield 3
I play this game like I would in real life. If guys are defending the mcom then ima crawl my *** in the grass till I get behind them. Kill them all, plant then go back in the grass an defend it until it blows up. To me thats just common sense. Im not going to sit there an be an easy target. Your going to have to work to kill me.

Re: Battlefield 3
The one thing about this game that also frustrates me about all FPS multiplayers is the lack of teamwork. It gets really old losing these battles because people would rather build up their kill stats than help us capture or defend an MCOM. It's really comical to see our MCOM station about to detonate and there is a guy standing right next to it but instead of difusing the charge, he heads out to get kills.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I understand what you guys are saying I play a kinda defensive run-n-gun style if that makes sense, I don't run around all crazy but I like to get to the action, and I do crawl when needed, but it just seems like a lot of people are just crawling around just to be crawling around, But I'll get use to it and adjust.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Battlefield 3
In BFBC2 I did a lot of shotgun sniping with lightweight pack. You were able to run and gun more. It looks like you need to have a more strategic advance now. I had a game yesterday when the defense on the first map pressed out ahead and were picking us apart early/mid map. If we could just get by them then I knew we were good. So in stead of sprinting I crawled literally through the whole map and they didn't see me. I would pick em off as I crawled and got to the objectives. My squad spawned on me and we armed easily. When you play an aggressive defense it's like blitzing in football. Once you get past that first wave scoring is easy.
Some of my team switched to sniper and tried to have a snipe contest. That's stupid if you're attacking. Get to the objectives, ANY WAY YOU CAN. Once we got in the subway we rolled them. The advantage of defending is you KNOW where the enemy will be eventually. When you rush out to get kills you forfeit your one advantage.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Battlefield 3
If you don't have a team together, whether it's impromptu or organized, you're going to be screwed in this game. You can't just go into this game by yourself and win. This brings up another problem; you can't just go out there and try to pad your KDR. That's a big problem with people trying the game out, the win at the end means more than just getting the most kills. I've had games where my KDR is around .5, but my I lead in scoring when it comes to the scoreboard.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Re: Battlefield 3
I'm noticing lately that I seem to be the only person who's reviving teammates and handing out health packs. I don't mind much cause I can rack up the points that way. Sometimes it would be nice to have someone in the group of 3 or 4 people huddled behind me break out the defib and give me a jump start.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Battlefield 3
if people are shooting at me it's where i know I would be...making myself smaller hitting the dirt and maneuvering around for position.
It's realistic in my book. It's not a SEAL team action, it's a battle.

Re: Battlefield 3
Plus if you're dropping medpacks by players with the + above their head you can rack up 1000 points in no time. Same with ammo. I drop ammo like a manman. Which also leads to the suppression perk. If you use it and suppress with your SAW you get a **** ton of extra points. Sooo many ways to get points in this game besides killing. Being a killer is important, however it's only one thing you can do to contribute.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Battlefield 3
Can anyone give me a quick run down of what some of these things do that aren't in COD? What can I do with repair kit? Ammo Box? Radio Beacon? And what is the PP-2000? From the description, it doesn't even seem like it's a gun lol.NFL: Bills
