I caved and decided to use some more PTO, took Wednesday as well. I honestly feel like my hype level is higher for this game than anything else in recent memory. I have to go back to maybe GTA San Andreas, sad thing is Skyrim is right there with BF3's hype as well. My god I need a time machine.
I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

Yes, the UPS driver will be getting an ear full if he is running late on the 25th..... LOL

Like you said, I am extremely hyped for this game. Not only to play it, but I'm also anxious to see how it runs on my system.

          Only 10 more days folks....WOW

You're pretty much just going to get biased answers, especially asking that in this topic. Battlefield is more of a team based game where a lone man can't win you a game, although he could be a huge factor as an amazing pilot. COD, to me seems like a lone wolf game. Everyone is running around trying to obtain the best K/D ratio. In a normal public game, one person can easily lead their team to several wins.

It comes down to personal preference. I think BF will be the better game easily. If you prefer the quick, arcade like shooting aspects of COD, then just go with that, it will be a good game for sure.

Easily BF is the more well rounded game, and you feel much more free. I also feel you get less frustration due the overall concept of the game, ie. teamwork.

The controller doesn't put you at a disadvantage unless you're playing unless good players, in which case they still only have a minimal benefit.
This is crazy talk. Control vs. keyboard and mouse = keyboard and mouse has a massive advantage. Honestly, I think you simply don't appreciate how much faster a player can be with keyboard and mouse.

Idk if that's entirely true. I use controllers on PC games all the time because I hate the mouse and keyboard and I hold my own. Well in shooters anyway.

I tend to agree. Even though I'm just finally getting back into the PC the mouse and keyboard, Especially the mouse is faster and more accurate IMO.
Even though Mr Carmack screwed PC with RAGE he even says “The keyboard/mouse interface is definitely still the superior interface for a competitive first-person shooter experience"

In the end a person will be better with whatever they are confortable with. IF you can get used to KB/Mouse and other additions like a gameboard for example, there's nothing better as far as accuracy etc.. especially with no "aim assists" turned on.

I think the general consensus is FPS etc.. = KB/Mouse
Racers(even though I'm pretty good with KB/Mouse) and maybe RPG's are better with controller (except Diablo.. Don't think I'd even want to try a controller with that as it would be Sacrilege )

I don't know about Batman, but here are some questions to help. Does it have online? If not, will you find yourself playing the single-player over and over to match the hours you would playing Battlefield 3 online?

                            I will say this:

I had BFBC2 for a long time and don't think I ever touched offline. So I would probably never play it offline.

                            IDK.
