Re: Battlefield 3
For those of you on the 360/PS3 do you know if we have to create this so called "Origin Account?"
Apparently this Origin Account thing applies Regional Locking. Specific to PC or also consoles?
I am assuming 360/PS3 users need only create an EA account right?Comment

Pretty sure 360/PS3 players don't need to sign up for Origin.NFL - Giants]

Re: Battlefield 3
Just preordered the PC version on Amazon. Now I just need to make sure to go an pick up a new GPU. I can get the GTX 560 for around $165 so I will probably go with that.
Also seen that nVidia is running a promotion where anyone who buys a new graphics card gets a free copy of Arkham City for the PC. Already playing through it on the 360, but it will be nice to have a better looking copy of the game.Last edited by Sandman42; 10-21-2011, 06:42 AM.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Battlefield 3
COD people really need to learn what camping is and isnt. This isnt a game for running around like a bunch of tasmanian devils trying to get the almighty K/D ratio up. COD is great if you want that and thats fine if you do. Just dont confuse team work and using some sort of thought process to achieve a TEAM goal as "just camping"
COD will sell probably twice as many copies (if not more) for that aspect alone. Many gamers just want the usual k/d, look at how great I am, gameplay.
Much quicker game pace with fast 'instant gratification' gameplay. Again thats fine but people really need to stop trying to compare these 2 games.
and to think no BF players care about K/D is just being naiveSLIDERS SUCKComment

Re: Battlefield 3
Question:
Ordered the PC version (physical copy) off Amazon. Once I get the game, I can install it to my PC from the DVD's, but what about running it through Origin?
What I mean is, will I still need the DVD in my drive to play the game or can I just enter the serial through Origin and play without the DVD like the digital download would run?
I just don't want to have to Download the entire thing through Origin on the 25th once I redeem my code or whatever. Anyone have a clue on how this will work?Comment
