One thing for me, and this is probably me just being weird, is that I like the maps in Bad Company 2 better for Rush, but I like the maps better in Battlefield 3 for conquest.

I see something awesome in every game I play. I was running past a small building last night and a tank shot the building and big pieces of concrete blew right past me and while I was running I had to jump over the rubble in order to keep moving forward. This game is just a blast to play.
Yeah, I am the same way about OSers versus randoms. I just have so much more fun, and success with OSers.

And I had a tree blown over and fell on me and actually inflicted damage. So cool!

I just realized that you can change your mode of fire on some weapons, like single shot vs burst, some weapons even have all 3. :o

Also when missiles or rockets fly by trees, the physics are effected, and the trees sway harder... good stuff!

Do you use a joystick or controller for the jet? Mouse and KB works when you have an adjustable DPI mouse, but the constant having to lift up and slide the mouse when banking is cumbersome.
I have an adjustable DPI mouse with the buttons on the actual top of the mouse, and it has helped me IMMENSELY flying.

I love this, adds a lot to the game for me. Switch to single shot for distance, POP POP POP, down he goes.

                Then switch back to automatic.

                Awesome.

Agreed, same here. But I do miss the stick pull on a joystick that you just have to hold down.

Maybe I will buy a wired 360 controller or use my Logitech DFGT Wheel

Yes. I only had the PC version, and it was in there.

So much easier to get long distance kills going semi-auto on an assault rifle.

If you can keep the things in the air I think you're doing pretty well because it likely means no enemy helis are in the air (easy targets). You can try to shoot something on the ground but you almost have to have ground-level teammates spotting for you, and if you fly too low for too long your landing gear pops out and you're screwed.

Helis/Tanks doing nothing or less than nothing....yeah, they suck. They're much more dedicated to the battle the whole team is fighting.
I was flying the A-10 for some time last night on Caspian Border. I finally blew up my first tank but it took at lest 5 to 6 passes with ground help. Even with a good strafing run the engineer torch has no cool down so by the time you turn around the tank is repaired. I just unlocked the heat seekers but I couldn't try them out yet.

Also found the beauty of setting c4's in a tunnel entrance on defense. I set up a trap on Seine Crossing, first A station. Someone spotted three in the tunnel bunched up, I detonated, out came three from the tunnel. One body flew so far he hit the M-Comm station. They wised up and flanked.

I've gotten a lot better since the beta which was my frist battlefield game. That said I still suck, but I do a lot of team oriented things now that I didn't understand in the beta. I spot like crazy now, one map I just ran around with my defibrillator reviving guys and a couple of times I've been repairing vehicles, and launching AA at helo's and jets.

I like the nature of this game more and more over that other one.

I feel the same. I've only had a few fun rounds playing with randoms, but really fun rounds with op sports guys. Part of the challenge is being able to get 4 people into the same game, same team, same squad though on the 360- sometimes there just aren't enough spots
