Re: Battlefield 3
0Also found the beauty of setting c4's in a tunnel entrance on defense. I set up a trap on Seine Crossing, first A station. Someone spotted three in the tunnel bunched up, I detonated, out came three from the tunnel. One body flew so far he hit the M-Comm station. They wised up and flanked.
The explosion is good enough to disable pretty much anything but the Abrams and its opfor equivalent. 2 of them (if you can get them both on), will destroy pretty much anything.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
This game has suck little details that add to the realism.
Like when you bank hard, you hear the pilot breath harder and strain from the G forces!!!
Also when missiles or rockets fly by trees, the physics are effected, and the trees sway harder... good stuff!
Do you use a joystick or controller for the jet? Mouse and KB works when you have an adjustable DPI mouse, but the constant having to lift up and slide the mouse when banking is cumbersome.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Battlefield 3
While I haven't got quite as far in the campaign yet, I've enjoyed what I have completed. Not sure why the reviews have scored it so poorly. Some have to find something to complain about I suppose.NFL - Giants]

Re: Battlefield 3
Are there any special controls when behind cover like to just hold the gun up over the cover or lean against a wall and peak out and shoot, basically the things you see your teammates doing in the single person campaign.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I can't find anything online, but I see my AI teammates and enemies useing the cover system like things that I have seen in uncharted and Gears of war, and I can't figure out if we can do any of that or not. I have a feeling that I am basically exposed most of the time I am firing.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
No cover system.
Operation Firestorm is so damn good. It's an Engineer's dream map, so many tanks to repair and so many to blow up.
Had a situation last night on Caspian that triggered a memory from the chinese base in Dragon Valley in BF2. I was out of RPGs when I saw a Tunguska in the field focusing on the dogfighting going on above him. So I said F it, there were no support crates/players around me, I had no bullets left only thing I had was my AT mines.
I crawled up to it and put 2 AT mines in front of it and one in back. After they were set I ran back into the trees and thankfully my squadmate spawned on my with his RPG fully loaded.
His first shot connected, tank tried to move, AT mines blew him up.

BF3 Back to Karkland shots arrive, tout December release
EA has sent over screenshots for Back to Karkland for Battlefield 3. The DLC contains remasters of four maps from the franchise: Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula. It also includes five new dog tags and achievements/trophies, and three new vehicles: the DPV, BTR-90, and F-35B STOVL jet fighter. Also included are 10 “iconic Battlefield weapons,” and a new persistence system where players complete assignments to earn their rewards.
The DLC will be made available in December, for free to those who pre-ordered. No word on how much it will run those who didn’t.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
