It's always nice when some douchebag takes a tank to the spawn point (in this case attacker deployment) and racks up kills as people spawn.

That's normal if the defending team is dominating.

No, they weren't. And he was the ONLY one back there, it's not like we got pushed back.

There were others that, instead of attempting to defend the MCOM, made their way to the attacker deployment and sat there in the bushes and whatnot trying to rack up kills. SMH

This game seems to get it right, where you use it to lay down cover fire. Just as they are used in real life. Even more so with a bipod.

This why it is in the "support" class.
Can someone explain suppression and laying down cover fire to me in a little more detail?

How does this work, what does it accomplish, especially without getting yourself killed??

They'll be gone in a few weeks once the latest yearly 60 COD map pack is released. I've played my share of COD, I'm skipping MW3, been there, done that, BF is just more fun.

When you are under fire, and bullets are flying around you in Battlefield your soldiers screen gets really blurry, it becomes more difficult to see enemies off in the distance, and your sound gets muffled a bit. The more bullets rain down on you..

If you fire at an enemy, and he eventually dies.. you get a Suppression Kill Assist even if you did not hit him with any of your bullets.

Haha, not trying to rain on your parade, but where are you checking this? Don't you have like 10% accuracy? :P

Also, about that tank thing, well some players like to just go way out there grabbing kills, but you can always go around them or get a couple of guys to take him out.

Go to leader board and find the accuracy section. It's different (and higher) than the one on your profile, I don't know why

Simply put if an enemy is behind cover he could pop up and shoot you. If you have suppression fire raining down on him behind the same cover he risks being shot if he comes up to shoot. Suppression and cover fire leave an enemy pinned down and people can move freely without worry of being shot.

Very important in real combat involving moving in open areas, quite useful in BF3.

That's weird! That seems to be the only stat that bf3stats reports differently than battlelog.

Day 7 coming to a close...

Still no power, heat, running water.

Hope to have it on by this coming Sunday. Glad everyone is blasting away at this, and I can not wait to jump in with you all again.

You really do appreciate little things that are taken for granted in a crisis such as this. But I am a hard as nails survivor.

Anyone use the bipod's for non-support weapons? I unlocked it for the M416, but I'm not sure if it is really worth using.
