I played Conquest because I was better at it and in Rush I would just run all kamikaze at the MCOMS to try to arm them and I would end up with bad K/D ratios. I still get killed a lot trying to arm, but I've gotten a little smarter and usually finish pretty highly on my team. I love arming and defusing those things. Or hiding out with my M320 looking at the MCOM and waiting for some sucka to try and arm it and BAM!! You got blowed up by a grenade just when you thought you had it armed.
    I have played on 3 modes and the time spent.

    Conquest = 90% - 415 games
    Rush = 9% - 44 games
    Team Deathmatch = 1% - 2 games

    I am looking to start branching out from conquest also. It is by far my favorite mode but I have collected the Conquest medal 4 times already for 220 conquest winner ribbons. While I am yet to get a medal on any other game mode.

    I want to start trying out the squad stuff, squad Rush, and Squad Deathmatch, since we always have a full team on the mics ready to kick some peoples ***.

    I think for the next several weeks it will be Rush only for me.

      You can say that about both game types. Conquest is absolutely frustrating when pinned back at your home deployment. Thankfully, it doesn't happen too often for me. I'm usually on the other end!

        It's true, but for me...when on defender for Rush and the other team just seems to absolutely swarm and overwhelm you and they take the MCOMS with 60-70 tickets left, move to the next set, repeat, etc...phew. Good ol' country woodshed ***-whoopin'. You feel like you have no chance whatsoever. Same when you are attacking; first set of MCOMS perfectly defended and you and your team can't arm one to save your life. Game over. LOL

        I've definitely taken some good whoopins in Conquest too though.

        I played some TDM last night on PS3 just to get the TDM ribbons and I hadn't played it in awhile on 360. Forgot that it's just kind of funny seeing guys running around willy-nilly with no objectives, no vehicles and a smallish area. I did pretty well and got the win and quit for the evening.

          I had a few good rounds on PS3 last night with randoms. I saw cmorris come on but we missed each other. Leveled up twice to a 12. I want to get my PS3 self up to Sgt by this weekend
          Thanks! everything was just rolling man I'm surprised that every where I ran there was multiple people to kill lol I was surprised at the end of it.

          I am still having a lot of fun with this game. I'm trying to get my KD up to 2 it was 1.4 3.5 weeks ago and it now 1.7 and by then I'm sure a DLC will be in order by then so then my interest will reset all over again. TDM has become a fun fast paced game mode that keeps me up and going at first the spawns were absolutely unplayable but now they are tolerable to the point where I can have fun and be competitive.

            I'm not sure I've ever enjoyed a game as much as I have BF3. I love my sports games first and foremost, but not sure I've ever put in the 3 or 4 hour sessions consistently like I have with this game.

            I think I'm in the minority, but I like the old maps more than the Karkand maps. And since someone brought up new DLC, I wonder when new maps will be coming out. Not that I'm bored with these, it's just a question.

              Ha! I can not believe you just dropped my name in with Mike and Paperboy. Shame on you Dan.

              Don't let that eagle emblem fool you. It's just a facade. Hell I just had a game not too long ago where I went for 1 kill and 10 deaths. You would NEVER see that from those two. LOL

                Hitting colonel almost seems unimaginable to me lol. I'm a first sgt on 360 and a 3star CPL on PS3....hours hours and HOURS of play to go to hit colonel!

                  See. This is one thing I've always wondered.

                  How the EFF do you pros get these insane kill to death ratios?

                  More specifically, how are you not dying? lol

                  I want to know your tips and strategies for avoiding death so well. It's crazy to me because it's not like your sitting in the back of the map playing it safe. Here you got 45 freaking kills. If I got 45 kills, I would have somewhere around 30-40 deaths. lol

                  And whats even crazier is, playing with Paperboy, I know he isn't even using vehicles. He stays on foot. If it was in a vehicle, I get it then. You can easily kill a dozen people before being killed yourself. But on foot? How the Eff?

                  Since playing and being a complete noob, my kills have gone up. But my deaths have stayed the same. At first I would go 2 kills, 12 deaths. Now its more like 15 kills, 12 deaths.

                  Some of it I know is because of my stick skills. They are severely lacking. In a one on one, I see you and you see me, type of scenario I'm going to lose most of the time. Actually, I lose those pretty much everytime. Don't know why, but I do lol. So I get those deaths completely.

                  But I don't get how to erase the other deaths.

                  (CMorris, Mike, Paperboy, Fatleg, WarEagle, Chizzy, LT. Dan) You guys must teach me your ways. lol

                    You should see me in cod... Guns only? Kill streaks to further enhance my stats? Good game. I'm not gonna die as much as I do in battlefield. I know some of these guys here played with me up to mw2, but I gave up on that game. To be honest TMagic, I see how guys thought colonels had like a boost to eat more bullets. I've been shot from behind without dying just for me to turn around and kill them real quick. Either they have horrid aim, I'm 50 cent, or colonels getting boosts is true. I honestly run around recklessly to get as much points possible, yet I don't have the deaths to prove that I do. I'm sure you guys see me running around capturing objectives without a care for the world.

                        Magic's an Eagle 2 with 137 hours in.

                        I'm a lvl 26 on xbox with 50 hours in, and a lvl 12 on ps3 with 8.5 hours in.

                        That's amazing to have that much time in, Magic LOL. Hell, I get 'battle fatigued' by playing over 3 hours at a sitting!

                          At first I just was so intent on getting better and unlocking everything I could.

                          Since then, I find myself playing with OSers more. And we get on these winning streaks and I don't want to leave until we lose. Lol

                          On top of that, my roommate just got the game. So I've been trying to run with him to help him get up to speed the best way I can. L

                            If Kharg Island was removed from rotation I'd be ecstatic. I just had a game where one dude went 97-2 and another 77-0. Both fly boys. Neither defense could do anything. The entire world was blowing up constantly. What was funny is the map rotated to Metro and just like that....the fly boys were nowhere to be found. It reminds me a little of Oasis on BC2 but much worse.

                                Do you remember him killing you repeatedly? With 144 kills, you had to have part of at least 10 of those. Lol
