I found the beauty of the Tank's Guided Missile yesterday. It's a beastly weapon. I like launching it and then simultaneously launching a tank round into the tank. It explodes the tank immediately if both hit. The missile usually makes the enemy tank leave cover so the tank round is almost guaranteed to find its mark, if you can shoot straight.

Lt Dan... I know you like support. I unlocked the Dog Tags for LMG Kills, Supply, and M249. I like the look of all three, it's hard to choose one. You got to get them.

I know it sounds crazy, but I haven't been sleeping well and having some dreams about Battlefield.

I don't know many details, I'll just wake up and know what it was about. I'm convinced I've been playing too much of this game and pretty much taking a night off.

Lol.. It trips me out when I see you on at 12-12:30am my time.

I have those same dreams though.

Ah! Can't have health packs and smoke....i'll just keep the defib and roll with my smoke when I'm attacking...use health when defending.

What I find somewhat effective is in most cases once you get tone "a lock" on an aircraft, the pilot usually deploys the flares once he hears the "the lock" tone. If you can hold your fire and wait for the flares to go out then wait to get a "relock" and get tone again, you can usually get a hit on the aircraft before their flares reload. I find this effective using the stinger and piloting a chopper.

This usually works on players who don't really pilot air vehicles often. The experienced pilots do not fall for that. There's a distinct change to the lock on sound to differentiate being locked on and actually have the missile chasing you. It's much better to shoot the stingers as fast as you can before they fly away after deploying their first set of flares. They're just trying to buy time for the flares to reload. You can shoot 2 stinger shots before they can use 2 flares.

I got tired of wasting stingers after my first initial lock because most pilots I've encountered usually deploy their flares almost immediately after a lock. That is why I like to wait after they deploy their first set of flares, and if they're still in the area and you get that second lock on relatively quick, "boom" they're dead. Whatever works for ya though...

Any OS PS3ers gonna be on tonight ?

I've been playing a few rounds with my buddy and we're getting demolished. Every team we get on seems to have no sense of awareness. We walked up on 7 guys all crouched in one room on Metro, with the MCOM around the corner and we went right past them and walked right up to the MCOM and panted it, only to be gunned down by a USAS shotgun from across the room.. then we spawn and the team is all in the same damn place they were before and the enemy defused it.

Just pathetic..

Man I was driving home today from the barber. I saw some guy parachuting or sailing. My initial thought was to spot him so I so I could shoot him later. or get 10 point for a spot bonus.

I will be on a little later. I actually had that happen twice last night on Grand Bazaar (B) and D. Peak... switched to a SMAW and got 5 kills in one shot. LOL, the one on Bazaar was hilarious because I shot it under the garage door.

I know what you're saying, but once you encounter that pilot who tears everything up, you'll just be wasting precious time that he is using destroying every bit of vehicles you have. If you shoot the stinger and occupy him, he's gonna be running rather than staying within the area shooting everything up. I'd much rather "waste" a stinger rocket and get him out of there to help out the team for sometime while he's busy flying away to avoid the stinger.

Yes and don't feel bad I played BF:Bad Company 2 and it took me a while to figure that out, would've been nice if it would have told you that in the weapon description.
