Played like garbage for the first couple of rounds... been a few days since I had played.

Lol it's pretty much the only time I played since skyrim came out. I still can't believe that one game on operation firestorm. I sat there in a tank clearing out an open building of b for awhile even before you took te gunner seat. We had 4 players sitting back at deployment trying to snipe and if even one person ran up to plant, they would have. I was getting kills left and right. I ended up trying to plant myself, but I forgot I was the engineer and basically left the tank with no one to repair.

Was playing on my friends copy. I miss this game. At first I was just ****ing around trying to sniper. Then are started getting annoyed because I kept dying lol so I started to blow **** up with my engineer.

IRNV Scope + Suppressor = WIN!

No one sneaks up on you since they light up bright orange! Unless they have the spec op camo then it's harder to tell them apart from the background.

There's a pretty good chance that I will be planning a battle on a field tonight if the Giants squash the Eagles.

Ugh, I still am having terrible luck when attempting to play Conquest. I just played a match where my team had A and B(I helped get B). I died, by the time I spawned they had stolen B and A was neutral. I helped take A again, died going to B. I spawned again and they had all 3 bases. I again took A, then neutralized B, then died. Spawned and they had B back and A was neutral. I then again took A, then took B, then died. Spawned again and they again had all 3 bases and we never even neutralized one the rest of the match.

You can't tell me I just have the worst luck possible in Conquest. That;s the average game for me.

I guess you do have terrible luck. I find the better players are playing conquest over rush and I'm not losing too much in conquest compared to rush. Every damn time in Rush there is at least 3-4 people who are doing squat on your team.

Have you been in a match where your team actually tries to hold all flags or do they just keep rotating around the battlefield? Everytime I play conquest, it's basically a game of "While I take A, you take C". "While I take B, you take D", etc. I don't know when that became Conquest as I remember it being more confrontational in the older battlefields. Now it's avoid the enemy / wait until they leave, recapture a flag that I just captured 2 minutes ago. Repeat.

I haven't given up on Conquest, but Rush just seems like more of a challenge and forces you to confront your enemy.

The first half of the match is like that, but as the tickets dwindle down, my squad/team tries to hold on to majority for the win. Usually near end of games, no one even advances toward the flag we are giving them.

EDIT: It might just be that I usually play with my buds, and they join their friend's games. Friends of other friends join in and it's pretty much just a match of players who could play. Of course team usually balances out and squads rotate around, but keep the core of the squad together.

Yeah, It seems like there's more teamwork in conquest.

I haven't played rush in a day or two, trying to mix things up..

finally got my rank to 35.. feels like I've accomplished something all ready.

Hah, yesterday I was playing conquest on Metro. The Marines kept swarming B and I couldn't figure out why. I got killed by a lame grenade and the kill cam showed the guy laying prone next to a spawn becon. I decided I was going to destroy it. So I loaded up my C4 and ran kamikazee style at the becon. I don't know how I didn't get shot up but I was surrounded by, pretty much, the entire US team. I threw the C4 and pretty much decided I was going to committ suicide but take some of them with me. I wound up killing 8 of them and getting some rude messages sent to me.

I had something like that happen on Rush. I shot a rocket in a window of the building the Mcom was in. I killed 3 people and destroyed 4 Mobile Spawns. Really? 4 in one room? smh.

Riding shotgun on the side of a little bird and raining down 320 grenade rounds on troops below is a blast LOL. I had a match on canals where I was nailing guys in the container objective by doing this. Drive by with nade launcher

Choppers are by far my favorite thing in BF3. Control + death dealer + unlimited ammo + flares = BEASTLY
