Mav is annoying....easily the worst part of this game...Yes more annoying than the shotguns IMO

In a recent game on Metro, someone on the other team used a MAV lol. Damn thing..buzzing around in the B flag area, trying for roadkills and spotting positions. Dude even flew it down the hallway of the locker room.

Just be glad it's not like Bad Company 2 where the mobile UAV had a gun on it.

They almost ruined BC2 with that feature.

Hated BC2....was pretty much unplayable for me with all the dam snipers and huge maps

Lol. That MAV trick just eased my mind a little bit. There's a map from the download pack (can't remember which one) that has some unfinished sky scrapers in it and there was always a sniper up on like the 3rd or 4th floor.

I could never figure how the hell they got up there and I would spend minutes at a time walking around the complex thinking I'm a complete idiot for missing it.

On the other hand, now I'm even more salty about it because it's an exploit. It's like the MW campers who used the rocket launcher to propel themselves into places "off the grid."

Its pretty funny when you send some motors down range on their roof.

I was on canals last night doing this and killed several snipers on the top of the big roof by B. They would try to duck out of sight, away from the edge like I wouldn't be able to hit them...FROM THE AIR. Funny thing was I could see where my mortars were hitting on both the mini map AND my main screen!

Or a chopper dropped em off...either way it is frustrating when they get up there. I usually don't worry to much about them if I'm in a tank.

Only if you don't make that your #1 priority. I'll go for road kills but only if I either feel my teammates need help or if its a transition period in rush where my team hasn't advanced yet. I hate guys who spend 10 minutes trying to kill one person with it

EDIT: Also if I get killed more than once by the same sniper in the same position I'll whip out my MAV and destroy his spawn beacon...and then him

I swear I just did that a couple days ago.

I think it's Gulf Of Oman. I was at the construction area. I was just defending the flag there and was lurking in the shadows in one of the unfinished buildings there, picking off anybody who attempted to take the flag.

Out of nowhere I started taking shots. So I hopped off the second floor and ran around the back of the building. I then notice a orange arrow constantly popping up on my radar, coming from one of the other unfinished buildings. I thought to myself, "Gotcha b****." lol

I ran around the back of his building, found the lower stairs (which is hard enough) and then to the area where I thought he was....Nothing...

Then I thought "Oh he must be on the third floor." So I proceeded to look for another staircase, and found nothing. Then I thought "maybe if I go to the building adjacent to this one, I can get to the third floor and take him out." Alas, no way to get to the third floor there either.

So I go BACK to the building I knew he was in in search of a separate staircase that would lead to the third floor. My dumb *** spent a good 5 minutes trying to find a way to get up to dude.

Worst part is this is AFTER I figured out the MAV trick. Not to mention that I more than likely had a shot from the building I was in originally. I think I had my mind made up that I was going to stab this guy.

Alrite fellas I'm back ... I'm getting back into BF3 now that my seasonal employment is over... I try to get on every night and play either BF3 or Arkham City... Probably more so BF3 because I really NEED to level my self up quickly. I will be adding PSN's to my PS3, so look out for friend requests from DustyR28.
