I'm probably in the minority, but I'd love to see something like Counter Strike's hostage rescue gamemode make it in with those maps, but I know that's not going to happen.

I'd be down for that or like Socoms extraction mode

That trailer actually looks promising, but it could be shotgun heaven.

I actually was thinking about missing guns, a few days ago, and two I wanted to see were the AUG and STG-77...

Hadn't played in a while and hopped on last night. Didn't see anybody on at the time so I jumped in a TDM battle...and got my first taste of the USAS-12 w/frags

I know I've read many of you guys' stories about it, but until seeing it up close and personal I couldn't even wrap my head around it. Got killed about 5-6 times by a level 35 Eagle guy using the combo...no words bros, no words...

The USAS with frags has really ruined the game for me as mostly everyone runs with it. Just shows you how one design flaw can ruin the experience. All they have to do is drop the frag rounds from all shotguns but Dice probably won't do that as they don't like to admit it was a mistake. Instead we will keep getting band aid solutions and who knows if that will even help.

Just discovered Hardcore mode. Interesting to say the least. This game definitely growing on me.

Can some give me some tips on how to approach RUSH, I am really confused and my teammates don't have mic's.

I understand Conquest, but still need lots of practice.

Your teammates not having mics is probably the biggest setback. For rush, you need coordination, especially in tight stages like Metro or the tunnel at Damavand (sp) Peak. But if you can't talk to them, be patient and use your teammates as cannon fodder to find where the enemy is hiding. But if you have a bunch of snipers on your team, well maybe it's time to find a new server.

If you're in an open stage, vehicles are a great way to break through the fortifications the defense sets up.

Never played Socom outside of one of the first ones, so I don't know that mode really. I can assume it's similar to CS's mode though. I can imagine that being very fun on those maps, but it doesn't really fit the BF experience all too well.

But with how great the sounds are in this game, being in a close quarters map, and having it be quiet since the defending team is watching the hostages while the attackers or rescuers sneak around, that could make for some nice experiences. You could hear the footsteps of attackers, or any of their gear from any movements. Silencers would definitely be a good option finally. Maybe I'm just thinking way too much about this, haha, but I just think it could work out pretty well.

Yea the first 2 socoms had the extraction modes almost just as you decribed. Suprised you dont remember that in the multiplayer. Was a hard but pretty decent mode. Promoted alot of camping though

Trying to get the RDS on the Famas pissed me off a lot today. Then the group of USAS jokes that were in that game added to the fire. Picked it up from a guy I killed that had it and got like 5 kills. I told iliveforthis that he would never hear the end of his tags too btw lol

Yeah, even in Confrontation, that was my go to gun.

I'd still play Confrontation, if I wasn't afraid for it to mess with my Battlefield.. it was really fun..
