Re: Battlefield 3
I figured out why I was playing so ****ty...
I'm having connection problems again, and again I think it's related to the Sony Wireless PS3 headset (this)
I having these issues:
- Soldier runs in place and I can't control him anymore
- I shoot a guy and the second I start shooting, HE starts running in place, I get no hit markers, the game glitches/rubber bands ahead and I get an "ENEMY KILLED" and I'm running against a wall like 50 feet from where I was before
- I get the drop on guys and unload a good 3-4 bursts from my PKP into him but get dropped instantly by him in one shot, only to see he's at 100% health
- Can't run properly, always run into objects that weren't there when I was running, but I rubber band ahead into them
- Can't really drive vehicles properly for the same reason
- I die before I even see the guy and before the guy even starts shooting me
- I'm not sure if this is related or not, but tell Chizzy that there is a guy to the left, and he will get him, but then I'll hear my voice through his mic (or someone else's, I'm not sure) a good 3 seconds after I said it, making my "guy on left!" comment pointless because it wasn't heard until after
Ugh
I'm taking authentic's advice and getting the ones he hasEagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

Re: Battlefield 3
I'm just extremely frustrated with this game, lately..
The servers post-patch are choppy and the sound drops more than ever.
It causes my PS3 to freeze up more than ever.
The tanks seem fine, but I don't like the tweaks to the air vehicles. Something seems off. I'll have a chopper in my sights with plenty of time to get a lock, yet it won't work half the time... I have to swap weapons and come back to the guided in order for it to work, and then it's usually too late.
I don't really have any gripes about the guns, just some of the vehicle tweaks and the servers... I can't play well, when I can't hear the damn game.Comment

Here's what I would change in a future patch
- Nerf suppression when you miss just a little bit. It is too much now, but wasn't enough pre-patch. Find the happy medium.
- Make it so the suppression we have now is still in the game, but only present when you get shot. In other words, getting shot should make you really suppressed, like it is now. Having bullets miss you should give you a toned down suppression
- Make it so the players cannot enter enemy vehicles that are in their spawn place
- Remove the USAS-12 and MK3A1, or at least reduce the fire rate to that of the 870
- Increase the effectiveness of tanks on infantry. They made it so it is almost easier to take out a good tank driver with 3 players shooting RPGs or Javelins than it is with 3 guys in another tank
- Bring back some sort of a countdown

Re: Battlefield 3
Guys, check this out
If you go to bf3stats.com, on the left hand side there is a button for "Better Battlelog". You can download the plugin for Chrome (I believe they stopped the one for Firefox), and it integrates bf3stats.com stuff actually into Battlelog. If you look at individual weapons, it shows you a whole bunch of stuff that you won't understand and that will probably make your head hurt, but it's really cool. There's also a bunch of minor things that make it easier to view stats and such. Try it outEagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Battlefield 3
r 360 players experiencing a lot of drops or disconnects today. been kicked 7-8 times today. don't know what's going onEA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
There is a 2gb server update I'm prompted to download. Is this required to play online? I have a 4gb xbox and with the Back to Karkland expansion I can't fit this update on my xbox.
I guess my battlefield days are over.PS4 - CoastalRyan
