Lol I didn't get to finish my story!!!

Anyway, I think the only real way to help is to go wired. BF3 doesn't like wireless connections

Yeah it's definitely better. But since there aren't that many explosions because of no vehicles and whatnot, you won't see it as much. If you go into an empty server and just C4 everything you'll notice

Me, Trojanman, and Badb0yz did that before we even played any games

The destruction in Back to Karkand is significantly better than the base maps as well.

I believe I have finally fixed my connection issues. I didn't really check my signal strength until Jnes mentioned it and I was sitting on average 35% signal strength. Yeah... that's definitely why I was lagging.

Since I don't have the option to move my PS3 or my router closer to each other, I decided to check out the router settings. Took a quick look at broadcast channel and saw I was on channel 11. Back then, I figured I'll pick one of the last channels since my neighbors will probably just pick the first few. Of course, I change it to broadcast channel 1 and my signal strength goes from 35% to 90% instantly. I even just played a couple rounds of battlefield and it was silky smooth. I don't remember the last time I played BF3 lag free like that. Usually, I would have a lag spike here and there which didn't bother me., but recently it was just unplayable so I had to make a change.

Anyone catch the Armored Kill preview on G4? They had an interview with a game producer/dev and showed gameplay.
Mentioned that they'll be the largest maps ever in a BF game, and I think they showed a Conquest with 8 capture points. I'll pass on close quarters but I'll be all over that dlc.

New vehicles too. They're bringing the ATV's back from Bad Company as well.

I'm pretty sure the 8 capture points will be PC only. I could see just 4 maybe 5 points for consoles, but that may be too much for a 12v12.

Played some gun master today.

Thought it was kinda fun. Hopped in a match late and ended up finishing 5th.

Then the next round on Scrap Metal, I could not for the life of me get out of the hole. I was stuck on the first gun FOREVER. Ended up finishing 10th. Lol

And I dont know what it is but I got stuck on the MK3A1 both times. Im getting multiple hit markers on guys, but they just wont go down.

MK3 is equipped with frag rounds which is just garbage at this point. I had problems with that gun too.

Level 16 using the LVG is definitely the hardest level to get through though. Knifing is by far much easier to get a kill with.

Obviously I've not played this on BF3 yet as I have an Xbox, but I remember on Black Ops that if I could just get that first kill with the Pistol, I was good to go. But sometimes that pistol was just hard as heck for me to get a kill with. Then I would get a kill and someone would knife me and it would send me back to the pistol, lol. I'm looking forward to trying this mode out when the DLC opens up next week.

I like it. Its something different.


Almost got first, but could not figure out that stupid grenade launcher. I'd shoot the damn thing right at guys and there'd be no explosion on impact. Its like its delayed or something. I got so many kill assists with it. So pissed. Lol

Think of it more like you're still throwing the grenade. It isn't an explosion on impact type of launcher like the dart.
