My PS3 has completely froze three times, tonight. I don't know if that is Battlefield related or not, but it never does that with any game.

Random freezes have been more frequent for me too after the patch. It's BF3 related. For no rhyme or reason the game would just stop.

As Cove said, after re-redownloading the BTK map pack I haven't froze after every Gulf of Oman match.

That was pretty funny when we didn't know we joined a hard-core server last night. It wasn't even in their description. I parachuted in from the randoms spawn beacon and committed suicide when I hit the ground. Yup this is a hc server.

Hardcore is something else. I don't dislike it, but there's no way to adjust in one round. I'm so used to spotting guys.

The only thing I really don't like about it, is the ability to only spawn on the squad leader. We should have just created our own squad and left that smurf out, because he was always in horrible position or had a spawn becon in some horrible spot.

I didn't play many Karkland maps, yesterday. I froze on Siene, Bazaar, and another I can't remember.

Yeah. HC is a little adjustment. I got a few kills by hip firing, even at distance. I forgot that you can't jump down long distances and I killed my self jumping off some stairs after I knifed a guy. I think we held our own though, even after we joined unaware.

Next week, we have a great treat for all Battlefield 3 players. Premium members will get double XP for an entire week, while non-Premium members get two and a half days of double XP goodness.

TheWudi told me they realized the CQ isn't sitting well with most(not really, but a good portion) of battlefielders(interest wise). The activity shot up b/c of the DLC but its going down again, so I see this as a semi-desperate attempt to to kept the activity up until Armored kill which will be a failure on consoles unless they find a smart way to make enough action for 24 players.

I think it's ****ing stupid. I get premium's purpose for all the maps, extra guns, dog tags, etc.

On the flip side, I think it's stupid to award more double XP for premium members for another week, so their stats can be more inflated... stats are becoming more pointless than they all ready were.

Also, I can't get a single MVP ribbon while playing with any of you for an entire week. I think it's also stupid that it effects that. So, because I don't have the $50 to spend, I'm not good enough to be considered an MVP in a round, even if my production on the battlefield reflects it ? Just absurd..

I love Battlefield, but the double XP is getting ridiculous.

Interesting. IMO I think the better strategy would have been to release Armored Kill in June, keeping the core BF3 players happy and then release Close Quarters in September to go heads up with Black Ops 2, bringing any disappointed COD players to BF3.

Yeah. I agree. The double XP points should count to experience only (ranking up, weapon unlocks and vehicle unlocks) and shouldn't be counted in matches as part of the match score for players. This way players can't boost their SPM.

Judging by the reaction, this seems to just be making the majority of the dedicated Battlefield players, more frustrated.
