Hacks......

Battlefield is clean. I have never heard of any hacking on either console.

It is certainly possible. 1 Shot, 2 Kills has always been possible on BF3. Some times its luck, some times its great timing. Or both.

Just to put it out there, my longest head shot is 647 metres, same map, from the hill tops to the carrier. Proof...

When we say "hacks" its like an inside joke amongst the PS3 OSers...well at least most of us. Navyspartan of OS has the only hacks for BF3 on PS3 =)

I actually had a fun night of Battlefield, even without any OSers.

Everyone signed off as soon as I jumped in my first match.

I started running my Support class with the AS Val, G18, and C4.

I've learned, over time, that this game is all about pursuit angles and spotting enemies. If you know where the enemy is and don't always try taking them head on, you will be successful more often. I just kept out maneuvering guys all night and putting myself in better position.

Upon starting to replay this, the Engineer class is now my least used class. Have the A-91 equipped on it and it's pretty good. Something about that class I just dislike for some reason. Recon really started clicking for me some with the QBU-88. It's not really a sniper rifle, but counts as one, so that helps. Really want to get a straight bolt for a bolt-action rifle at some point because I know those do much more damage. I love my QBB-95 with my support class (apparently the Chinese know how to make weapons I like). RDS, bipod, and silencer attachment have made that my favorite weapon and it's soon going to surpass the AEK-971 as the weapon I have the most kills with. I don't use the AEK anymore as I moved on to the M16A4.

The burst fire guns seem to click with me a lot. I've got 10 service stars with the KH in the Assault class and now I'm using the AN-94 a lot. I'm surprised I didn't try it, until recently. It was my favorite gun from Bad Company 2

I've been trying to use Recon and support more, since I've fell in love with the AS-Val. My only gripe is that I run out of ammo quicker. I can't use class specific guns for those two.. I have to use a shotgun, val, ump, etc.

There are a lot of different ways to play this game.

I've probably asked in this thread before, but anyone have pointers for learning to fly? I'm determined to learn. I tried joining some servers with only a few people in them, but they all seem to fill up quickly. I've looked up videos on Youtube, but when I try to follow the instructions I don't get the same results... they make it look so easy.

My main problem is that almost as soon as I spawn someone is locking on to me then I have to bail. I have heat seekers and flares unlocked mostly through spotting enemies and a few lucky vehicle damages here and there.

Do a search for my server. I left it on unranked for people to practice.

Yeah you do! Whenever I play against you and I'm in a tank or LAV, you always seem to get me with that damn C4. Ending with my lamenting into my mic and seeing you on my kill screen.

I'm going to try to get back on tonight. Work has been killing me lately and I know I need another steam release soon.

Then next week I'm off to Austin for a few days for more fun work related ****e, so I'm going to try to get as much BF3 in from now until then.

Lol, I purposely swapped classes and went after you on Kargh Island/Rush, that one night. I wouldn't have, but you killed me and I had no choice.. haha. We had a spawn becon in the upstairs room. I dropped through the hole in the wall almost on top of you.

Final map in Armored Kill is a night map called Death Valley. Also, a premium version of the game is coming out for 70 bucks. And finally, first look at Aftermath.
