Re: Battlefield 3
3 pretty awesome moments in the couple games I played with Nuni last night.
1. Nuni and I were in a tank on Kharg and a jet was just bearing down on us. I shot it with the Tank and blew it up and it crashed right behind our tank, then 2 seconds later the attack helicopter came in and just lit us up and blew up our tank. Nuni and I both escaped in the nick of time.
2. Same map and we were pushing these guys back after the 1st set of MCOM's. The attack chopper was causing us a lot of trouble again and I tried to shoot it down with my RPG and missed. But right after I missed I saw it explode over my head. I turn around and there is Nuni with an RPG on his shoulder and the smoke trail going up to the helicopter. Awesome.
3. Finally, we were on Damavand and we were on top of the building after the free fall. We had just taken out both MCOM's there and were waiting for it to allow us to go into the tunnel. There was a guy running away into the tunnel and Nuni and I were shooting at him. I got a bunch of hit markers on him and I think Nuni was hitting him too, but he didn't die and he made it into the tunnel. He was still highlighted and as he ran further into the tunnel I kept shooting at him with my M16. I fired one last shot before he got out of sight and I got a "Headshot", Enemy Killed 100." I started jumping around to try and tell Nuni I had gotten our guy. I know when that dude saw the kill cam and saw that he died from a M16, on top of the freaking building from that far away he was like "bull....". LOL.PSN: Koolie_G

Re: Battlefield 3
That 150 ticket Rush game on Kharg was such a draaag . LOL we kept bringing those birds down, I shot down 3 last night. My favorite was when I shot a Jet with my RPG, hit it right as it was coming down trying to get a friendly tank.
LOL that's why you jumped up and down on that building on Damavand Peak? Noicee good shot tho.Last edited by cranes74us; 12-19-2012, 03:10 PM.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Cool, thanks for the help! So here's what'll happen. I'd trade in my current Battlefield 3 copy, and use the trade-in money and however much else I'd have to pay to get the premium version. In your opinion, are the map packs worth the extra money?Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
The new maps are really all I play now, expect armored killed. The armored kill maps are impressive but just too big for the console. To me Aftermath made BF3 feel like a whole new game. So to me it was well worth the money.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Agreed that Armored Kill on the console is not very exciting. I love all the other maps. I find myself playing the original BF3 maps the most.
I hardly ever play hardcore. I like to be able to spot people & I like the mini-map. Phobia used to play hardcore a lot & he loved it.
The wife has to work tonight, so I will probably be on & off BF3 most of the night.PSN: Koolie_G

Re: Battlefield 3
Jdoug, in case you wanted to save your BF3 trade to put toward something else, Target has BF3 premium edition on sale this week (til 12/22) for 29.99. Cheapest I've seen it since Black Friday on Amazon.A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

Battlefield 3: End Game DLC detailed
DICE has released the first details on Battlefield 3's fifth and final expansion pack, Battlefield 3: End Game.
The pack, which is due for release in March 2013, crams in four new maps "designed for high speed combat and action", three new vehicles (including dirt bikes), and a new dropship, which will offer support to ground troops by deploying vehicles from the skies.
End Game also sees the return of Capture The Flag, last seen in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat.
"Battlefield 3: End Game delivers some of the most high-speed warfare to date across four vast maps," says DICE.
"Race through enemy lines using the new dirt bike, bringing speed and agility to the Battlefield, or fight back aerial assaults with new lightweight AA vehicles. Coordinate lightning fast attacks and defenses in the return of the classic Capture The Flag game mode. In the skies, the new dropship introduces the ability to turn the tide with rapid deployment air drops of troop transports."
As per usual, Battlefield 3: Premium owners will receive the content at no additional cost.
Details on Battlefield 4, which is set to release between April 2013 and March 2014, are still to be revealed.A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

Re: Battlefield 3
Awesome, thanks for the heads up. But I'll still go ahead to Best Buy because they have it for $39.99 and since I'm a rewards member, I can probably get a decent trade-in price for BF3 towards the premium version.Comment
