Man armored kill is nice, the new maps are amazing. But I really hope they tweak that AC-130 because it is a bit OP at the moment.Comment

Quick Impression
8/10 Rush
The Rush maps really remind me of BC2. Lots of flanking routes and multiple attack angles. The maps are great lots of cover and the ground game is intense at the choke points. Not everyone is in a vehicle and imo 12v12 fits perfectly on Rush.
The only reason I give it an 8 is because the Armored Shield map is unbalanced in favor of the attackers. They have the AC-130, two Tank Destroyers, Missile Arty, and after the 1st set an Attack Chopper. The defender only has a t-90 and an attack chopper. With attackers dropping in from the AC-130 all over the map its very hard to stop. Plus there is really no ground cover on this map. Grass is no way to hide from an AC-130.
The other maps all have a Frog foot to counter the AC-130, if you have a good enough pilot. But there is so much cover on those maps that you can still stay hidden from the air power.
6/10 Conquest
These maps are too big for 12v12. It feels a lot like Caspian Border only bigger. I was in a full server and I think I ran into only one or two enemies, if any at each flag location I capped C (the AC-130) flag by myself a couple of times. Conquest on the AK maps kinda sucks, and Rush can get annoying with the attackers having a gunship which also means they can parachute right onto the MCOMS before the defenders can spawn and run to them.
I ****ing love that Optimus Prime thing though

It comes out for XBOX and PC premium a week later than PS3 premium, then it comes out for PS3 non premium and then XBOX and PC non premium
You see the servers because the patch did the updates for AK, so people put the maps in their server and people join but all of them are really in the queue and get kicked out before the game actually loads

I ran the heavy barrel last night on my M16A3 with Flash Supp and Red dot. It seemed like I was not as effective at longer distances. Maybe I was imagining it. Is that what was nerfed on heavy barrel or was it a recoil issue? I didn't notice a big difference in recoil.PSN: Koolie_G
