Had some good games on 360 last night with Authentic, T-Magic, Nuni, & kt-od.

The first game when it was just me on the other team really sucked. Magic jumped right on top of me, I don't think he even knew I was there. I start shooting him (in the legs cause hes standing on me) and somehow he ends up killing me. Then the next game I switched over in the middle, but before I switched Magic had taken my tags and was 4-0 against me. The 2nd match Authentic and I were on same team to start and Magic just seemed to be everywhere. Nothing went right for me until I got in the OS squad later that match.

I was on fire the first couple of games.

Before I left for work I didn't see Armored Kill. Does it come out today for sure for premium users or next Tuesday ?

Soo...... the patch sucks?

Sucks hearing about the canister shells taking longer to reload .

I don't think its bad. Some of the patch things are just unnecessary. To me, the canister patch hurts us console players more than the PC players. Our turrets don't turn as fast as PC so the extra load time to get that hopping c4 guy can be a huge difference.

I wish DICE would just leave it alone at some point. I get tired of learning new ways to play every time a patch comes out.

Before I left for work I didn't see Armored Kill. Does it come out today for sure for premium users or next Tuesday ?

It just comes out later in the day because that is when Sony updates the PSN store. 5pm-6pm EST is the new time frame.

I am most interested in seeing how many more players will be running stingers.

Buff (range and lock height) to stingers, lower the survival chance of helicopters, and I think we could see helicopters becoming MUCH harder to keep in sky.

Here is my issue.

1) Heli vs heli having flares will greatly help in this battle.

2) Heli vs ground stingers - fire extinguisher could be a good way to survive. Come in fast hit target area, eat stinger round while retreating out of lock range then repair back to full strength. Rinse and repeat.

Problem is fire extinguisher vs heli would equal to quick death. So how do we remain beastly helicopter pilots?? Looks like ECM is best option honestly.

I downloaded the patch at lunch. I'm interested to see how it changes the way I play.

On a side note. I need finish the Co-op portion so I can unlock the G3A3. I've not played all of those Co-op missions yet.

I had no choice, but to swap to ECM after the issues with the flare and sound. There was no way to determine when to deploy it.

I don't see the need in eliminating the passenger flares, though. It's rare that you find two people who can work together well enough to use them. I know Chizzy and myself have done it, but we both had a mic. and were calling when we were using our flares. It worked well, but it was frustrating.

I'm good enough at evading, to where I can use the ECM and usually keep strafing or moving and not get taken down.

The few games I played with Chizz I didn't notice a huge difference. Stingers are now going to be OP

Along the same lines as what Phobia posted, I think the changes were made to make pilots play differently.

Now instead of hovering around and completely wiping out infantry, now pilots will have to do fly bys instead if they want to stay up. I like that change myself.

It also makes more people run stingers now. Which will result in Armor being tougher to take down as not everyone and they momma will be running Smaws and Javelins.

And I think the increased range on Stingers were necessary to deal with Jets as they couldnt be touched by infantry.

Unless I mis read, they only eliminated the gunner flares, right ?

I don't see that really changing much. The stingers did need added range, though. I felt like they were becoming useless.

I think most decent pilots are using the ECM jammer, anyways..
