There's an actual percentage somewhere? I'm guessing it's on the stats screen, but I haven't looked for it yet.

How many hours have you played so far?

It's on the save game screen. Might be on the stats screen too.

Yeah I've taken over complete sections of the city and it still says 38%....And I've been playing about 2 to 4 hours a day. This game has a long life span if you play every aspect of it and not just focus on story missions...I'll complete all the side quest first in 1 area at a time along with the missions and hopefully let the scenes flow with one another.

I took this picture earlier of my edited character...I was going for the Black Dynamite look..

I really need to play around with car mods. All my money is going towards guns, upgrades, and property.

Zimo's cracks me up, too. The delivery of the Russian girl personality is hilarious to me.

So I was thinking, they need to release a DLC dedicated to zombie survival. Now I know the zombie thing has been done to death recently but this game engine thrived during the segments with zombies to me. The freedom of the user against the zombies was awesome and I was having a great time with the atmosphere of the zombie island for the 2 or three missions of it.

Imagine 2-4 player co-op of a zombie plagued land with the saints row engine. I'd love it.

You can sort of do this now with the "brains" cheat that turns the pedestrians into zombies. You can have zombies chasing you and any co-op partner that you're playing with, but there are no zombie objectives or activities though.

Anyone else wish you could unlock all of the items that you didn't unlock during the game because of your decisions? I wish once you hit 100% you would unlock any homies/weapons/etc you didn't get. Also, does anyone know who the 24 homies are? I have 17 of them and I know who 2 I didn't get are...but that still leaves 5 that I don't know and I have not been able to find a full list.

The story missions are a blast. The dialogue in My Name is Cyrus Temple is hilarious.

                          re: Saints Row: The Third

with gamestop's B2G1 free going on this weekend for used games i grabbed this which i was waiting for [along with 2k12 and skyrim, why these two were already traded in was beyond me].

                          Long story short.

                          I am not happy.

                          I LOVED 2.

Some of the things that made two fun for me are for some reason gone.

                          dynamic day/night cycle.
                          2's gang warfare system
the diversions and side missions being laid out on the map and being able to do them anytime.
                          less customization for your player.
the vast unlockables like cd collecting. ok some might think those were pointless, but i liked em.
getting drunk, eating, yes they might seem minor to some, but to others they added more depth and diversity to the game

there were more things, but i can't place them now
not to mention Steelport is way less fun to run around in.
I remember two having tons of variety to the map.

                          there were positives
the missions i played so far were fun, and from what people say they get better!

the user interface and presentation is way better.

after 2 i expected everything to be better then 2, but as is the case with GTA IV, inexplicably, things were removed.
some i can see i suppose, but dynamic day /night cycle? why?

I am gonig to have to send it back and get Arkham City as the third game. If its still there when i get back! lol

I knew I'd like this game but I didn't expect it to be this addictive. I love just running around beating the hell outta people with the dildo bat.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

                                Hi goh,

are they out and about on the map?
Cause in the amount I played, the side missions and diversions were put seamlessly into the main story.
