re: Saints Row: The Third
^ Yeah too bad it only took me about an hour since I didn't know there were gonna be DLC's back when I beat it in November so I used my respect points to upgrade to inf Health. All the trophys/Achievements were pretty much story related unlike the Genki Bowl one (which I still enjoy the most) that had you do specific things instead of beating it.
Looking forward for the next DLC which is "The Trouble With Clones..."
This was my GOTY for 2011Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather.Comment

re: Saints Row: The Third
So not upgrading would've made it have more content?
But no Gangstas in Space wasn't worth $7 either. You'd think you'd get the outfits, weapons and be able to select the film grain but you get a helmet and a couple of useless homies.
None of the DLC is free, not even the stuff that's already on the disc. The season pass was free if you pre-ordered from THQ. BTW another one of those on disc DLCs this week too with the vampire ability where you suck blood to regain health + respect and cash bonuses...of course at this point everyone's already upgraded and doesn't need that stuff.Comment

re: Saints Row: The Third
I actually JUST got this game, and am actually enjoying it more than the second to this point (yeah, let me explain.)
The problem with the second one for me was that it was too jumpy with the controls. That and flying a helicopter was the single most painful thing I've ever done. Especially on the higher difficulties. I'm so glad they fixed that in the 3rd. Now it feels simple, and less of a battle to stay in the air.
I haven't touched the story though. I basically JUST got into Steelport, and I got to Shaundi's Crib, but that is it. I've been playing 14 hours of shooting the hell out of anything and everything, and getting trophies out of the way before I start getting to the story line stuff.
All in all though. Really enjoying this-the least famous person you've never heard of.Comment

Saints Row: The Third's 'Enter the Dominatrix' Expansion - $29.99
Volition announced the expansion today, highlighting the various abilities your ultimate super-gangster would be able to take advantage of, while also explaining why all of the sudden you have ******* superpowers.
Faster than a speeding cyber jetbike, more powerful than a roided-out Luchadore, able to leap flying aircraft carriers in a single bound... That's the power you'll find inside the Dominatrix. Use it for good. Use it for evil. Use it for whatever you want.
Aaaaaaand...
Saints Row: The Third - Enter the Dominatrix picks up immediately following the events of Saints Row: The Third. For centuries, alien warlord Zinyak has eyed Earth and its precious natural resources and females with a watchful eye. As he prepares an armada for invasion, he has only one worry: the Third Street Saints.
Once a simple street gang from Stilwater, the Saints have evolved into a global empire, replete with bombastic TV advertising and tasteful consumer products, the kind of TV advertising and consumer products that would give any alien warlord pause. Clearly, the Saints are the biggest badasses on Earth.
Now, in order to prepare his forces for domination, Zinyak captures the leader of the Saints and imprisons him in an elaborate virtual reality simulation. This simulation program looks and feels like Steelport, but it is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. Here, you are a slave. Welcome... to the Dominatrix. The expansion is currently set to retail for $29.99, which gives one the impression there is a good bit more content contained within than in the combined efforts of the DLC packs released for the game thus far. At least I hope that's the case.
Volition says we'll be hearing more about Enter the Dominatrix this summer.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

re: Saints Row: The Third
Hopefully it's longer than the ****ty DLC they released.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
