I felt like they were going to give this game a lower score than the original Bioshock no matter what. It's good to know that you didn't see the "padded" problem in the middle. This game just can't feel as original and you're expecting a plot twist. CAN'T WAIT!

Re: BioShock Infinite
Just picked up a code off eBay from someone who got it free from buying a new video card. Didn't look to hard for the absolute best deal that might have been out there, but I got it for $38 so I am happy (if it works -_-)Comment

Re: BioShock Infinite
Yeah it was part of the reloaded bundle. I was thinking about putting my code on Ebay as well after seeing it being sold. LOL

Re: BioShock Infinite
Polygon - 10
Rock, Paper, Shotgun'm still thinking about BioShock Infinite now, days after finishing. Irrational built a believable, fantastic world rooted in dark pieces of American history. But for everything it has to say, for all the questions it asks —many of which have no easy answers — BioShock Infinite's big thoughts and complicated narrative don't obscure the brilliant action game that carries those messages through. It's hard to know if Infinite will prove to be another major point of artistic discussion and development of the medium the way that BioShock was. But in every way, BioShock Infinite lives up to the promise of its legacy, and it looks poised to establish a new one.
By the standards of mainstream first-person shooters, I’m not sure what there is to rival BioShock: Infinite. It’s a true giant among story-based games which revolve around targeting reticules, and I’m going to have an exceptionally hard time getting much out of one of those grimly photoreal, tiresomely macho-posturing gun-worlds after the soaring colours, explosive combat and impossible structures of Columbia. By the standards of BioShock, and by the standards of what Infinite teases but doesn’t quite deliver because it’s so caught up in telling its fantastical, reality-distorting tale, I’m not quite so agog. Despite being first encountered on the other end of a civil apocalypse, Rapture was a place first and foremost, but despite its initial hours of compelling social politics and religion-led villainy, Columbia winds up feeling more like a construct to house an elaborate sci-fi auto-mythology.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

The Escapist: Bioshock Infinite Review 5/5
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news...-in-the-CloudsBottom Line: An instant Game Of The Year contender - and, at this point, favorite - Bioshock Infinite is in a class of games that only come around on very rare, very special occasions. It combines fantastic action with a story that will evoke every emotion you have to offer, and leave you wanting even more. This is as close to perfect as videogames get.
Recommendation: There's practically no reason to pass this one up. If you want to be included in a conversation that is bound to take social networks and games forums by storm, you have no other choice but to experience it, and enjoy every second of it.

I personally fell that an 8/10 of too low for this game. There really hadn't been a shooter this good in some time. It replicates the time period and general feel of early Americana extremely well while providing a story that just gets more and more intriguing as you progress.
The only knock I truly have on this game is that throughout the while ordeal I found myself not caring about the protagonist that you play as. He want a had character or anything, but as I'm going through the story I thought to myself " if I find out he dies at the conclusion of this game, I really wouldn't care. On the flip side I wouldn't care if he lived either."
That is countered by my enjoyment of every other character they introduce, and the snappy story that makes it feel like more answers (questions?) Are just around the corner.
You guys are in for a treat when you pick this up, and I can't wait to have others to discuss the story with.badComment
