Now that right there is what makes bioshock so awesome.

I use the crows then chain lightning them all. But fire crows seem fun. Lol.

Undertow + Shock Jockey = Complete immobilization (can also be used on the "heavy hitters")

For the people that think the combat is too repetitive, try playing on Hard or 1999 mode. Way more fun and challenging. I feel like it is the difficulty of this game that makes it fun. Forces you to search for all the resources and use both vigors and weapons carefully.

Can someone give me a rundown of 1999 mode? For some reason, I'm having trouble finding anything substantial about it on the internet.

I believe to put it simply, your character improves by how you play.

So if you use the Carbine a lot, you'll naturally progress with the Carbine as your best weapon.

And the same goes with vigors as well.

Reduce your damage, increase enemy damage. Less resources. No arrow to objective. If you die it costs $100 but if you don't have enough then it takes you back to the menu and you have to start over.

                    Re: BioShock Infinite

Just finished the game. I think this is second to maybe only the original Bioshock in terms of overall quality. Good writing and a good story are terribly underrated in video games.

I liked the combat but didn't love it. The story, the characters, and the atmosphere are what made this game for me. In regards to the ending:

Made it to the Hall of Heroes and took care of the wings.

I feel like so much history is being thrown at me and there's still so much to learn.

                      Love it.

Ok, I will rescind my previous comments and change that to vigors are useless for 2/3s of the game, these last couple of fights the vigors were pretty great.

How you take down the freaking handymen? I fought like 3 of them and always seem to die multiple times. Grrrrr. Just wanted to see you guys strategies.

Just keep moving man. Run away, turn around and shoot. Set vigor traps and equip gear that works best for your personal strategy. When he's about to shock the skyline he grunts something pretty loud. Jump off ASAP and run over too him because the poor guy will just be hanging for a few seconds. The heart in the middle of his torso is the weak point so blast it to bits. I agree they are very challenging though.

If you listen to them talk they yell out in pain "why are you doing this to me?" I remember in the carnival hearing the man on stage say that you could live forever as a handyman so I guess they're just heads and hearts in a machine? Kind of sad...similar to the story of big daddies and little sisters from the original.

I use shock jockey a lot vs a handyman, stun and shoot, if I need healing stun and run to find health/recharge shield. I should have set down a few shock jockey traps, but in the heat of battle it's hard to remember to do.

Yeah, I thought that was depressing. I wish they would have made them a bigger part of the story. Any chance I missed a voxphone or a video that went into a little more detail about them?
