I like that NCAA Football, Football Season and Fall Softball are higher on the list than Getting Married.

Just kidding. Obviously, if the list was in numerical order, GTA V would be on top.. and than NCAA 14, Football Season, Fall Softball.. and than your wedding.

I do that after playing the first mission or so. I just drive around and do whatever. I think i'll be lost in a map this huge though!

I'm looking forward to the ability to switch between the three.

It's going to be cool knowing the other two are just roaming the city and countryside doing their own thing while I'm controlling one of them.

I'm sure I'll still be lost as ****, while looking at random things.

I also love the fact that I know I'll be getting way more than $60.00 worth of entertainment out of the game before it's purchased. I don't get that from any other franchise not named Battlefield.

I need to find a way to block this thread from view.

I wonder if we'll be able to find the other two in the map. Like if I'm playing as Franklin, I wonder if I could actually find Trevor hanging out doing stuff.

              I was wondering that also.

Have they said whether or not we will have access to the full map at the beginning? I assume it will be like other GTA and R* games where you have to reach certain points in game...but I hope they changed for this one.

Full map is available at the beginning.

I remember memorizing the map in GTA III and Vice City. I knew every street. By San Andreas it just got way too big.

They did change it. All three characters live in different parts of the map, so they really couldn't lock parts out.

In a way, this map might be actually a bit possible to memorize. Maybe not every street, but you will be able to get general areas of places because there really are only a few skyscrapers. The rest takes care of itself, and you'll probably familiarize yourself a bit with the countryside as well with the sparse roads, etc.

                    Maybe not, though.

I've not read much up on this game. No idea where it takes place, what it's going to look like and what it's going to contain. I've been playing Saints Row 2, though, and it destroys GTA IV (only GTA I've still not finished)... I hope they pull it together for this installment of the series.

Still my favorite GTA game. Favorite cards, favorite radio stations, favorite player character, favorite city. Love that game.

You really can't compare something as whacky and outrageous as Saints Row to Grand Theft Auto.

It sounds like you will be disappointed again.

GTA>Saint's Row....But that's just my opinion though as I'm not a huge fan of the whacky route Saint's Row took after the 2nd game. Both are great games in their own way though...

I actually find myself avoiding half the news I see on it. I wanna be surprised by how awesome this game is. Rockstar knows how to market games and build hype by not showing an ounce of raw gameplay. And even if they did, I'd resist all temptation and not watch it. Not to mention I'm pretty sure I know how it'll play.

Can't wait. Only way the game would be any more awesome is if they stick a jetpack and somehow incorporate Godzilla and cyborg ninjas in there somewhere.

Edit: And I might've skipped over any such announcement. But with the ability to swap between three guys, what if there's a mechanic where if you get arrested you can break your guy out with one or two of the other guys?

I like that idea. Say you get a wanted level and are given the option to surrender. Depending on your wanted level, your bail is set to a certain amount and you have to either serve a certain amount of in game time in jail, or one of the other two characters can bail you out using their pool of cash.

I imagine after a while, if it's anything like the other games, you'll have a huge pool of money, so it probably wouldn't be a big deal to just keep bailing guys out. Still could be a cool in game mechanic though.
