The install for this game is going to kill me. Buy it and get it home, only to have to sit through an install. Lol.

Hmm, good point. I wasn't thinking there'd be a reason to attend the midnight release but perhaps I could pick it up then and let it download so it's ready by morning.

How long do you folks surmise it'll take for the 8GB download to occur on the 360?

What are the chances people in the OS PS3 crew will be playing in the early morning? I work overnight, so my best time to get some gaming in is around 8:30am EST after the kiddos go to school. I'm usually on for an hour or two during that time.

I try to get in some time at night before work after the kids are in bed, but it depends on whether or not I have to rock/paper/scissors the wife for the TV .

I'm going to regret it, but there's a good chance after I pick it up I'll be playing overnight without sleep, then work. I have class Tuesday night, so I figure I'll be sleeping between work and class. Then work the next day, etc.

In other words, there's a good chance the only time I'll be playing is right after I pick it up, and I won't be able to again until late Wednesday afternoon.

It won't matter as far as multiplayer goes though, because GTA Online won't be active until October 1st.

I might have to get a full headset, too. I have the PS3 Bluetooth device, and I have headphones... but I'll need a combination of both during late nights when everyone else is in bed. Actually, don't know how loud I could talk anyway, so I'm kind of screwed on a few levels there.

I had the Sony Pulse or whatever it's called, but I really didn't like it. I wanted to, but there were too many negatives associated with it, and it wasn't any better then my Sony MDR-7506 cans.

Going to think about this one a bit, but for now I'm just going to stick with the BT earpiece.

With the series now able to support such textured storylines, Hollywood's top studios must surely have been enquiring about the film licence? "We've been offered, many times, and it's never appealed," says Houser. "The money's never been close to be worth risking one's crown jewels. Our small dabblings with Hollywood have always left us running back to games. The freedom we have to do what we want creatively is of enormous value. The second you go near Hollywood, people seem willing, or have been forced, to lose a lot of that control. That sort of amorphous 'that won't test well' attitude is exactly how we don't work.
