Re: Grand Theft Auto V
That said, at least when the cars do take damage, it looks pretty wonderful. They can get really torn up, it just takes a while for it all to occur.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
So I don't have much time to play this game. When I do, it is usually at night after my wife falls asleep. So, last night I was playing and my wife woke up and watched the game. First she was like "what is with that crackhead hooker?" (referring to Tanya).
I continue playing and she is realizing the fantasticness of this game. She was first talking smack and then found herself in an endless amount of pursuits.
Thought it was funny because I never thought my wife would be into this game...

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I played 3 1/2 hours last night and got two main missions completed, flew around for a bit, and completed the rest of the Barry stuff with all the characters. I made one full rotation, but they were complex missions. I looked at the clock and it was almost 2... fuuuuuuuuuu
I did spend a little time climbing mountains, crossing rivers, etc. with the truck that's a mix between what looks like a Chevy 2500HD and Ford F250.. funny how I just got caught up in doing something like that inside the game. I was on my way to a mission out in the sticks and found some cool trails and stuff..Last edited by AUChase; 09-20-2013, 09:15 AM.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I rotate Michael -> Franklin -> Trevor and then back to Michael, unless something happens in the story. You can lose time in this game fast.

Cult in the mountains
SpoilerAfter you bring hitchikers there 3 times, they take you in and then you have a shootout. After that happens, make sure you search every single building's porch. There are weapons and $100K in cash laying around. I used the cash to buy the strip club just down the mountain from there.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I have my afternoon planned. Its suppose to rain here later, alot of rain actually. The wife has to work later on today so will have the house to myself. Going to get some snacks and some junk food ( I always feel the need to snack on crappy food and junk food when playing GTA games, lol ) maybe a cold drink ( soda maybe or cold bottle of water as I don't drink ) sit my a$$ in front of the TV put in GTA 5 and spend the next 8 hours doing that and nothing but that !!
Funny thing is most of this will be just spent driving around and taking in the scenery while listening to the radio. Nothing like a little Jane Child while going up and down the coastComment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Anyone find anything on purchasing vehicle's online? I bought a mountain bike with Michael. Got the delivery confirmation email. Checked the house garage, vinewood garage, police impound. Nothing.
I know this is a known issue, just curious if anyone has found anything out about it.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
One of my favorite moments in game so far: I took Michael into Blaine County to rob a favorite convenience store of mine. For some reason, I couldn't shake the cops until I got to Shady Shores. I had to ditch the Ferrari style car that I stole earlier and took off in some 80's piece of ****. As I was making my way back to Los Santos, I witnessed a shootout between some cops and a group of three who were in a beat up Jeep. The cops ate it, so I followed them until I could get a good shot and killed two of them. The driver started to go while I was perusing him and the cops got on my tail. I was able to pull the guy out, shot him (he didn't have anything on him, bastard), and then took off in his SUV. I was chased around for a couple of in game hours before I shook their tail and hid behind some rocks. Not really that exciting, but the game can pull some really amazing random stuffs.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks
